After being given menus, we waited at least 15 minutes for a waitress to return to take our order. The place was virtually empty when we were there, so there was no excuse. Further, one of the waitresses spent ten minutes gasbagging with the table next to us, then ignored us and didn't take our order before she returned inside.... More

We went here once in November and ordered tacos for entre. I have to say, even though they don't specialise in Mexican food they have restored my faith in Australian restaurants delivering Mexican food! I couldn't fault it, absolutely amazing!!! We went again recently, again great! But I think they must have had a different chef as the guacamole didn't... More

Can't beat a $12 Porter house steak and $10 jug of beer! Owner was great laugh. 2nd night tried pizza and would have to say one of the best pizza I've had in all my time in Australia...The Lamb pizza is a must.

We had an early dinner at this place - a burger and fries and a steak with mash - they were both OK, but the atmosphere was a bit dire.

If this place was located 100 metres away in Acland Street it would be more expensive and less fun! Consistently good coffee and awesome music! I want their playlist on my iPhone!! Great value food and drinks and staff that appear grateful for your custom! Hearty breakfasts made well! Pizzas are surprisingly good and they don't hold back on the... More

Great variety in their menu. Salads were fresh and meats were tender. Very generous servings and great drink prices.

Beautiful steak with mash and salad for $12, sauce is very yummy. We are regular visitor and the quality of their food is great. Good environment too with a TV to catch up with sports.

We've been here a couple of times for a quick, well-priced pre or post theatre drink or snack. This time we stayed for a proper dinner and are committed fans. Interesting menu, not expensive, and friendly and professional service. Food excellent quality and very good value. Highly recommended.

I live near this place and come every now and then when I'm after a cheap feed. Food quality isn't the best bit you get what you pay for. For what it is, it's great. They have some great drink specials too which makes up for the average food. But the coffees are good so you can be assured this... More

My girls and I went to Barzar this evening and we had a fabulous meal. The food was fresh, hearty & generous and the service was sensational. I had the pumpkin risotto which was full of flavour and a very generous serving. My girls also loved their meals. We thoroughly enjoys our dining experience.
