A great place for people in large groups to meet up and start the day, the food is good and the service is too. The only things I felt let down with was there were only a couple of beers on tap and we were in a group of 25 who were all buying food and drink but were still... More

If you get the chance to make a trip down to St Kilda the Republica is the one establishment that shouldn't be missed. It's beach side frontage makes for the ideal afternoon by the sand side. The venue is beautifully designed for outdoor entertaining, dining and Chillaxing. The food menu is extensive and the wine and beer choices are more... More

I went to Republica with a friend for after work drinks and dinner on a super hot Monday. It was lovely sitting outside and watching the world go by. We were very relaxed with our coronas and mojitos! I ordered the fish and chips which was good but not worth the $27 I paid...I suppose I was paying for the... More

Great place in front of the beach with a great terrace outside where to enjoy the view and weather, and another terrace inside when is too cold/windy to be at the other terrace. Great variety of beer/wine and very good (and cheap) chips and pizzas. There is live music sometimes. If you are lucky to get a table outside on... More

Considering the Esplanade and Acland Street are full of eating places, getting a consistently good breakfast is quite difficult. Many places seem to stake their reputation on their location, they must have the idea that people won't notice the food or bad coffee while watching the view. Republica is different to most, it has nice food, great coffee and is... More

My husband and i went to St Kilda for the very first time a week ago and LOVED Republica. It was a beautiful sunny day and my husband said that all he wanted to do was go to the beach and eat fish and chips/ Sure enough we got to the beach and were immediately dran to Republica. With a... More

I took a large group here last Saturay night. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the meal was good. It was a bit cool to venture outside for this Queenslander but those who did enjoyed some live music and a lively crows atmosphere. I found it catered to all my friends and as advertised, the family friendly, gluten friendly & vegan... More
