Great views, great food, great choice of wine - what else is there?

Republica is in the old St Kilda Baths complex, facing the bay which gives great views through the floor to ceiling windows. We had a table against the windows which was excellent for views of the parade of passers by but a bit noisy due to the piped music. Unlike much of trendy St Kilda, parking... read more

Recently had dinner at Republica and it was sensational. I had the Wagyu beef and it was mouth watering. The staff were very accommodating, especially when I asked for gluten free options. I was well looked after! Will definitely return.

A friend recommended this place to us as we are out of towers. It was a beautiful autumn day and we opted to sit outside in the sunshine and soak up the atmosphere. The setting was perfect and the food was fantastic, all four of us were very happy. Linguine with prawns was best I've had a very substantial. We... More

Sitting outside sharing a pizza and watching boats bobbing on the water was a great way to enjoy a mild Melbourne autumn day. Located across the road from the Novotel and right on the foreshore, Republica offers spacious indoor and outdoor eating areas overlooking the bay and includes swinging cane basket chairs for those happy to brave motion sickness with... Family of 6, we shared 3 mains and 1 entree. Food were generally good although mains are a little pricey, around $25-30... But lovely to sit around ! :)

Nice place for chilling with a glass or two of something after looking round the market. Overlooking the sea and also with a nice sunny space inside, which was protected from any breeze. There is an upstairs terrace which keeps the sun longer. We were there on a Sunday and there was a band playing at the right volume for... More

Friendly staff, quick service, delightfully fresh food (tuna tartare and turkish bread was incredible) and good value. Nice terraced area out the back and would have been a great spot out front if a hotter day! Will go back when I'm next in St Kilda.

Set in the historic St Kilda baths this restaurant offers great views over Port Phillip Bay, St Kilda Beach etc and on a sunny day the viewd are really a great adjunct to a long lunch with friends. Outside seating is available for the warmer balmy days. The atmosphere is friendly, light and airy. The service is quick, friendly and... More

First time lunch here with group of six. Place was very noisy, service was average and the food not worth coming out in the cold for. I imagine this place would be great on a sunny day to sit outside and just have a drink as the location is really good, but go elsewhere to eat. Can't say anything other... More

Lovely place on the water, especially on a nice easy sunny autumn day. Grab some friends and head down. Lots to choose from on the menu. Didn't eat but it looked amazing. Was a nice afternoon enjoying a couple of wines with my partner.
