We use to visit regularly on business an it would be 12 months since I last visited. Use to love the Duck tortellini. Visited on a Tuesday or Monday evening (can't remember)and ordered my favourite meal but it was very disappointing. The service was slow, and there was another couple next to me that had waited a long time for... More

Great bar with good food, excellent drinks and friendly service. On a Monday night they even have live music which adds something to the experience

I am a bit biased, I met a man here in 2004 who is now my husband. However I've been coming back to this place again and again since the early '90's and it has remained consistently fantastic. The wine selection is broad enough to cover all tastes, and excellent quality at very reasonable prices. The bar service is friendly... More

This place was accidentally stumbled upon by a late night drive for dinner in St Kilda. We parked directly outside the restaurant and went inside which was warm and quiet with a few people. We seated ourselves and waited to order, there was no table service so we went up to the counter and got ourselves some menus and ordered.... More

We dropped by early evening for dinner on a cold wet August Saturday... Sitting by the warm fire enjoying great service and good food with with a glass of Shiraz. Perfect... The goat shanks are superb, with the meat falling off the bone, the yearlong beef OSS bucco nearly as good, and a side of mash potato and sautéed broccoli... More

This place used to be great. 10-15 years ago. The guy who owns it now is notorious for not paying his staff or suppliers so the staff has turned over entirely in the last 12 months - more than once. And you can tell. The food is very hit and miss due to temps in the kitchen, and floor staff... More

This is my friends 'local' pub so had no expectation about the food as it was all about the company, this is, however, Melbourne - where even a humble pub feed can be a bit special, and so it was. I enjoyed a Fabulous burger while my friend drooled over a duck ragout pasta.

Funky. Great service. Simple menu with lots of specials. Wine list extensive and inexpensive. Nice outside area to watch the walkers pass by.
