Some Highs and Some Lows - but not bad for Mildura

Nicely presented food which overall was quite good. I sometimes think "degustation" menus are an easy way out for the kitchen in that they only have a limited number of courses to prepare ( as distinct from servings ) and on the night we dined there were five. The standout was the pasta... read more

Fabulous 10 - or was it 12 course dinner. its not cheap but its equivalent to fine dining in France. the use of local ingredients, river prawns, local meats, kangaroo, sausage, tiny morsels bursting with flavour. and the presentation is totally original and very appealing.we also had the matching wines which were fantastic- so many boutique wines that I was... We took our two children., 16 and 10 for am amazing lunch on the weekend. I rang to enquire about lunches and they were more than happy to open for us. The food was amazing and the service second to none. Very relaxed but stunning setting.. A must do in Mildura for everyone.. We all felt very welcome. Thankyou from... More

We had a wonderful 10 course degustation with matching wines, (very generous serves of the wine) thoroughly enjoyed the food, amazing combinations of flavours. Service was excellent - the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

We went to that restaurant on the advice of a so-called gourmet expert, when we were in Mildura last year.We were then advised by the head-waiter to have the full unknown course to enjoy the evening. We did & what a disaster. We were in shock when we received the different mostly-unknown microscopic ingredients on so-called different unusual unrealistic plates.... More

This came came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. We did the 10 course degustation with matching wines, expensive but so worth it. Awesome food and wine, great service, one of the highlights of our trip. Worth doing for sure

To start, the food in this restaurant is different from the "original" Stefanos. We were very impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly service that attended us during this brilliant degustation. We had the full 10 course and matching wines. It was a whole night affair from 7:30pm to nearly 12 midnight. It was unbelievable. The night exposed us to wines... More

If you are in Mildura, make sure you dine here. You will not regret it, it is well worth it. Lovely atmosphere, wonderful service, really amazing food and wines. Jim McDougall has done a great job at bringing fresh ideas to the degustation menu that Stefano set in place years ago ( we came in 2000 and had a great... More

We decided not to go the degustation menu and instead went for the 2 or 3 course menu. While waiting for the first course to arrive, we were treated to house made mini bread rolls and house made butter which was lovely. Our entrees were delicious and we were again given something while we waited for our mains. This time... More
