The first disappointment was that the asperagus/crab soup on the specials chalk board was sold out. We were served by a German boy who did not have sufficient command of the English language, so communication was minimal. On the first page of the menu the dishes are called "small" dishes, suggesting they are starters. The second page offers "side dishes",... More

We were a group of 6 and we all found the serves to be bigger than expected. Some of us had the entree tasting plate as a main and it was plenty for those who had it. With a couple of share plates for starters between us, then the mains, we were all extremely happy with our choices. Staff were... More

Popped in quite early on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy. My husband and I both had the pan fried ling which was very good. Hist starter was supposed to be Asparagus but there was a lot of broccoli with it which he wasn't so keen on. Had the local wine which was pricey but very good.

We enjoyed a (very hot) coffee and light lunch here. A lovely little cafe with ample outdoor seating for lovely Spring days. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our kids were entertained with a well-stocked toy basket and paper & textas provided on our arrival.

Stopped in here for an early dinner. Albeit in between lunch and dinner we were dissapointed with the lack of freshness. Dips were dry and pork belly was most certainly not fresh. Chips and aioli were good but the rest was a little dismal. Sorry guys.

I went for dinner last night (5/11/2014), it was a very nice and quite place, not much was open. But we were asked to leave at 9:30(pm) because apparently the kitchen staff needed to leave, we ended up having to get our deserts in take-a-way containers... :-(

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Service was quick and food was up to standard. One of our party had dietary requirements and the staff was very accommodating. Our dinner was enjoyable overall.

At the end of a beautiful Spring November day, we sat upstairs and shared a seafood dinner ($110/2 persons) looking over the water. What was fried was delicately done - not heavy. With a glass of red, I was in heaven!

Service was good and prices reasonable. However, upstairs location could be a problem for some, as stairs are very steep.

Our lovely waitress served us excellent seafood, obviously fresh and prepared with olive oil. We would have preferred it all to be a bit less expensive, but the place was packed out, so presumably the prices are correct for the area.
