Fantastic evening!

We were fortunate enough to get a table on the balcony so enjoyed the warm evening as the sun set. We were fortunate enough to get a table on the balcony so enjoyed the warm evening as the sun set. Very friendly staff helped us select from the cocktail, drinks and food menu and everything was cooked and presented wonderfully. Being on the coast there was a good selection of seafood, including a 'specials' board. Not the cheapest in town... More

My in-laws had eaten here previously and raved about it so when we were in Lakes Entrance we ate here. Very friendly staff and atmosphere but the restaurant was empty (admittedly mid week). The fish platter was the obvious choice and although enormous (even shared between 3) wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. The lamb portion... More

My friend and I shared a Greek seafood platter and we were very disappointed. We had one a year ago and were looking forward to trying it again but it did not come up to expectations. Service was good and we enjoyed the sweets but would not go back there again for seafood.

My wife and I were expecting excellence given the motel we were staying in gave us the recommendation. I ordered the scallop entrée which consisted of 3 overcooked and tough scallops fried or grilled to death. My wife had a main course of whiting which was nicely cooked with tasty crisp chips which she enjoyed and gave 10 out of... More

We had eaten here before and loved it. We were so excited to return. We are so disappointed. Very ordinary! Busy staff. Food was not great I had the mussles in the tomato sauce and it was tasteless i had to ask for some chilli to try to give it a lift. Hubbys fisk was so dried out and cold... More

You have to try the seafood platter . Mouth watering. Nothing was too much trouble. The waiter was actually the owner (who is also one of the chefs) so we had a great chat. Definitely worth trying.

Recommended to us as a good place to eat, we booked for dinner. Surroundings were interesting with a large number of paintings on display and colonial style furnishings added a lay back feeling to the place. The waitresses were attentive but the food we ordered in my opinion just so. For entrees we had Oysters and local scallops. While the... More

The decor is incredibly dated and daggy, smells a bit stale. The wait staff are young and a bit inexperienced so service is slow, just need better training but friendly enough. The food is actually quite nice though. We had the Greek Saefood platter, plenty of food for your money. The oysters were terrible so we left those but the... More

Ordered the steak. Definitely not to the standard I was expecting and paid for after trying the seafood. After commenting about the meal, my opinion was shrugged off with complacency.

Modern Australian cuisine which we were rather surprised to find in this small resort in Lakes Entrance. The restaurant was perched on the first floor of an old colonial style building, which was great and had eclectic art on the walls and dining furniture which reminded me of restaurants I had visited in the Keys in Florida. Great, loved it.... More
