Yum

Delicious food, fast service. Very nice! We had all small plates and each was lovely. Pricing is similar to Canberra so expect a big bill.

There are plenty of take away restaurants in town but not many sit down places. Miriam's was a great find. From the outside it does not look much, but climb the stairs and you get a warm welcome. The waitress was attentive and friendly. I chose fish (after all it specialises in fish!) but the are plenty of other choices;... More

Although in middle of winter the atmosphere began with a wonderfully warm greeting at the door. Not a busy evening but the chef and waitress did a superb job to make us comfortable and to ensure our meal was exactly to our taste. Seafood was lovely and fresh.

The entree's were delicious. The seafood platter made me feel like a bird scratching around for something to eat. Too much shell and not enough food. It tasted good but was hard work to get the goods. Desserts were large, delicious and filling.

Miriam's serves very good food at a moderate price. Service is good and the menu is adequate, Miriam's has an emphasis on seafood. I had curried shark with pumpkin on wild rice. The shark was school shark, which is commonly used in cooking. The serve was generous. Initially there was a slight touch of ammonia, which soon dissipated. My companion... More

From the outside I wasn"t sure about this place, but once I walked in I was amazed by the level of comfort, the greeted us with a wonderful presence, they were all extremely friendly. We had the seafood platter and were blown away by the size and taste. There was nothing crumbed or deep fried any where to be seen.... More

Was here for lunch and very pleasantly surprised by the food. The fried local whiting and chips were beautifully cooked, the seafood linguine was delicious but the highlight was the local crab cooked Singaporean style. The plate was piled high with crab & was fabulous. A milder version of Singaporean chilli crab but great taste. Seafood in all the dishes... More

We arrived in Lakes Entrance at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon disheveled, weary and hungry after a full day of driving in poor weather. We were in desperate need of a hot meal and were almost certain that we'd have to settle for MacDonald's (something I haven't had in around 10 years!), when we noticed a quaint little restaurant on... My husband and I ate dinner here tonight. There was excellent friendly service, our food was served promptly, and we were regularly checked on for top up of drinks etc. My husband had the Greek Seafood Plate for 1, which was massive and had some of the best seafood he has ever had. I had gnocchi and was similarly impressed.... More

We walked all over downtown Lakes Entrance looking at numerous restaurants, and rejecting some of them because of the high prices. We settled upon Miriam's as it looked pleasant and had food choices that appealed to us. It was a cold, windy day outside but it was extremely warm inside. We had to move tables to get away from the... More
