If you like seafood, this is the place to have it. The staff were excellent and very attentive. Service speedy and food beautifully presented and absolutely delicious to eat. Would definitely recommend anyone visit this restaurant. The menu is varied and the desserts to die for. Am definitely going there again woo wool!

we had such fantastic service and the restaurant had such a home spun feel about it that in spite of having a mediocre greek fisherman's platter and average crab and corn chowder, we decided to dine again the second night. we were very glad we did as i had one of the best bouillabasses in australia and my hubby had... The food (and wine) was more expensive than the boathouse, in quite ordinary surroundings but the food was nowhere near as good. Overall the food was ok but certainly nothing special. -$14.50 for a very small bowl of ordinary broccilli soup with burnt cheese on toast - not good at all

"The only place open" is what the "help" said when I told her we saw their lights and decided to come in. The first-floor room is really beautiful with natural wood ceiling and floor. The owner's art adorns one wall. They also own and promote a winery. The menu was interesting with a Greek twist. We ordered the sea-food platter... More

This is our second visit for lunch and loved it again. The waitress was very good and the food was superb. I had the scallops and hubby had the seafood tasting plate. For main I had the seafood tasting plate and hubby had the eye fillet steak. The peach chutney that came withe the scallops was fiery and tasty. All... More

Had a fantastic dining experience. Seafood platter for two with wine and a couple of beers. Service was better than average with smiles from all staff, with prompt attention to our orders Platter was only seafood (thank goodness no chips to bulk meal) with accompaniments that enhanced the meal. We only just managed to complete the meal. Check out menu... More

This is in a lovely old building with antiques and collectibles and a very good gift shop on either side to browse and buy. We enjoyed coffee and cake at Miriam's a couple of times, once inside when the weather was cool and outside when it was sunny. Staff are friendly and obliging.

I have been here a couple of times with my partner and friends. The food is always amazing, I have had the fish and the chicken are both excellent, even the starter bread is great. It's one of lakes entrance best restaurants.

My fiancee and I just wanted somewhere to have dinner after our boat cruise around the lake and we were very pleased that we chose Miriams. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. From the outside it looked quite formal but once inside the restaurant, the atmosphere was quite laid back and really friendly. The service was very good and the... More
