This cafe has a wonderful view of the Eastern Beach promenade and the You Yangs across Corio Bay and is one of my favourites for breakfast or a casual lunch. There is a good range from which to select your meal but I usually go for the eggs benedict or just a basket of toast and spreads for breakfast or... More

Thought we would have breakfast in the cafe after a walk along the waterfront but it was not to be. Made our selection from the breakfast menu that was on ALL the tables only to be told after waiting for 10 minutes in the que that breakfast was no longer being served! After protesting that the breakfast menu was still... More

The location is lovely but I would not recommend lunch in the cafe. I ordered food from the menu that had no indication that it contained capsicum which I am unable to eat. When my meal arrived it was full of capsicum. I explained to the staff that I couldn't eat this and that the menu didn't state capsicum and... More

Was terrible. Kitchen was closed at 2 and couldn't even get something to eat. Service was poor. And the drinks weren't even cold, not even chilled. I am very disappointed with my experience.

We took our kids out for a 'nice' dinner. We got there for 6pm and the service was fantastic. They were lovely with the kids and brought everything out in a timely manner. The kids meals were great- a huge range and they catered very well for my gluten free son. Our mains were amazing, including gluten free deep fried... More

Great location, food OK but our lunch experience at the Cafe on Wednesday was spoiled by a waitress taking her frustrations out on us. Ordered and paid for food and drinks and our meals were delivered within a reasonable time but no drinks. (nothing fancy just a beer and a glass of wine) Politely asked about our drinks as the... Dined for lunch on a Sunday for my nephews birthday, group of 10 in a surprisingly empty restaurant on the edge of Eastern Beach with views to die for. We enjoyed the $40 deal with entree, main & a house wine $65-$70 value and the food was good for the price but average at full retail. Great choices of seafood,... More

Dined at the Beach House last night with my partner and had a beautiful dinner. We selected the 2 courses for $40 which was great value. My partner had an entree bread and pork belly main and i had the duck salad and desert tasting plate. Wow, yummmmm. The duck was just divine and the deserts were amazing. Service was... More
