Great cafe with fabulous coffee

James st bakery is a great little inner city eaterie in Geelong. Coffee is always great and have tasty sandwiches and rolls. Pulled pork and Asian slaw is a favourite and there a lot of yummy sweet treats. Fresh muffins are always hard to resist.

Lovely crusty rolls. Terrific salad rolls. Lots of different salad veges, cheese and meats. Good value. A coffee, a cold drink and one of these keeps you going all day. Lovely staff

We stopped there during our Great Ocean Trip coming from Melbourne, the food was magnificent; tasty, well presented and served and very delicious. Was bit expensive but well deserved. Will definitely visit it again in the future and we highly recommending it. Regards, Kathy

Great little bakery in Geelong! One of the best the town has! New outdoor seating on the street, lovely coffee and fab french toast! Delicious!

Poor service. Poor food. Sorry! I ordered porridge with stewed fruits. The porridge was watery slop and the fruit, well they certainly were not stewed. I had a few mouthfulls and left. I'm sure there might be 1 or 2 other thigs on the menu which would have been better, but this was an epic fail. If you are not... More

My husband and I stumbled across this bakery one rainy morning. Despite having lived in the Geelong region for 10+ years, we had not known of this place until a recent Facebook discovery (maybe due to its "out of the way location". What a find this was - and definitely warrants a return. We were in a rush, so could... More

I popped in here for breakfast one morning and it did not disappoint! I ordered the french toast, which came smothered with syrup and caramel and a generous scoop of ice cream, and was simply excellent. What I loved most was the atmosphere - it felt just like I was sitting in a cafe in a small country town in... More

A few mates and I rolled stumbled into this cool little Bakery and were so happy we walked in. We hadn't slept a wink and were starving and so naturally opted for the big breakfast. It was delicious and definitely got rid of the grumbles. The coffee was delicious and a also welcome hit of cafine. It was warm and... More

We visited James street bakery and cafe recently for our bi-annual fitness squad breakfast. We chose the venue because it opens early and we could visit before work. The menu for breakfast is great, a really good array of choices, typically there are big breakfasts, porridge, granola and for those with a sweet tooth there was a french toast with... More
