As part of the restaurant, they have an outdoor fish and chippery where you can just order your fish and chips, and sit outside. The seating area was good and comfortable. the fish and chips were expensive for what you got, $13.00 for what anywhere else would average 8 or 9 at worst. $1.50 for a potatoe cake, now thats... I dine out approximately 300 times a year, so for me to declare that a restaurant is amongst the best overall dining experiences I have enjoyed, means a lot. My wife and I decided to enjoy a variety of the tapas dishes rather than a main course. What a brilliant choice that turned out to be. Crab and Water Chestnut... More

My friend and I went here for a bit of a special birthday lunch. the food was good, although I think they were skimping a little on some things. We ordered several of their sharing dishes and the dumplings were mostly dumpling wrapper and bisque with virtually no filling. Other dishes were beautiful but still quite expensive overall. There were... More

Dined here recently for a family celebration. We chose to share some of the delicious sounding entrees and were very pleased with our choices. The dishes were interesting and catered for everyone including vegetarian options. Of course the setting, at the end of Cunningham Pier, was beautiful and added an extra special feeling to our experience. The desserts were also... More

Had breakfast with friends and whilst the breakfast menu is small, the food was quite nice and coffee was great and prices reasonable. Service is ok, but could have been a little better, however you cannot beat the location. Dolphin's swam past us whilst we were eating!

Nice views.....average food. The service staff were friendly and attentive although I could not say the same for the chefs. The food was ordinary at best. 4 people with 4 different meals and nobody was impressed. The lamb-which was the most expensive dish-was bland. Maybe we just got a bad night but I wouldn't be going back considering the fabulous... More

This was our first time at Baveras and we were very pleasantly surprised. It is located on the end of the pier and at night you have pleasant views back to Geelong. The atmosphere was friendly, comfortable and although it was fully booked it wasn't crowded due to the spacious table layout. The service was attentive without being overly so... More

Baveras is terrific. The location at the end of the pier on Eastern Beach gives the impression at night of being at sea. The food was outstanding as was the service. The sommelier knew all the detail about the various wines we had with the meal, and served them correctly as the various dishes were served. The cost was very... More
