I did have high expectations of this cafe after reading the reviews on TA, but I must confess it didn't quite live up to what I'd hoped for, especially when it came to the coffee. The brekky was decent, but coffee looked murky and tasted a bit weak for our taste.

It is not often you taste something and your first reaction is "WOW, this is really good!". Situated not too far from Geelong CBD and on a Sunday morning there is plenty of off-road parking nearby. We were warmly greeted and seated by a very friendly girl named Megs. Recognising this was probably our first visit, I appreciated it when... More

If you love your classic scrambled eggs on sourdough bread look no further. My boyfriend and I constantly come back to this quaint, friendly cafe based in a residential area. It's not pretending to be anything too fancy for anyone who is looking for pomp. The staff are local and use local produce and are constantly friendly always recognizing their... More

Went to Gobble on the recommendation of my daughter regarding their delicious mocha chino's. We didn't have one but had a hot chocolate which was almost the best I have ever had and a flat white which got the comment of very good (this from someone who doesn't get too enthusiastic). He had the egg and bacon pie with salad... More

Gobble would have to be my favourite Cafe in Geelong. Not only is the food delicious, I love the set menu that doesn't change and the variety on the specials board that is always changing. Service is fast and everything is well priced. The staff are just lovely and genuinely care for each and every customer. Atmosphere is very relaxed.... More

This little cafe produces great tasty food & is a great lunch option. The chicken tandoori toasted Turkish bread is a favorite as well as the egg & bacon.Beautiful sandwiches, pastries, deserts & slices are also options. A great local cafe on the fringe of Geelong CBD. Well worth a visit!

I live just around the corner from Gobble, and can therefore attest to its status as a gourmet mum's haven. It's home to some of the best ice-cream in Geelong, and though the serving portions are meagre, and pricier than your average fare, they still prove a treat with kids and...big kids alike. The atmosphere is great, although it's often... More
