Ceres is a venue where the passion for "Good Food" of the owners Scott & Kerry, filters down through the staff to the service & the plate. My wife & I had an excellent dinner there, we don't drink wine but could not fault any of the fod or service. Nothing short of exceptional!!!!!

We just stopped here for a breather in the middle of our shopping - the coffee was great and the service excellent. The waiter recognised our golf shirts and had played at the course, so we had a chat about handicaps.

Had a booking for my fathers 70th birthday while we were in Echuca for a sporting competition. As the event ran later than expected only 30 of the 40 people who confirmed they were coming could make it. Most places would make a fuss about this but not Ceres they were wonderful. Food was amazing everyone was more than satisfied... More

After coming here for dinner I can say I'm honestly gutted. When you pay $35+ for a steak you would actually expect to get a quality cut, advertised as a gunbower steak, it was obvious that is was nothing more then a steak picked up at Woolworth's, it's disappointing when the best part of your meal is broccoli, the scalloped... So hard to make a choice. The tapas tasting plate give us five options for four people. The duck was a favourite at our table. The pork risotto had a massive punt if meat in it. The sticky date pudding was a strong favourite for dessert.

Helpful staff arranged a table when otherwise was fully booked. We were happy to arrive at 6 pm before the crowd and had the benefit of waiters full attention. Wide selection of Tapas dishes or main menu on offer. We ordered the seafood Bouillabaisse and Daube of Beef as mains and would recommend. Both large serves and full of flavour.... More

Attended here after dinner... Walked in around 930 for a coffee and cake. An overly sweaty waiter greeted us and when we said we wanted coffee, you'd think we asked him to bake us a cake at that hour. 4-5 selections of cakes were available at a very steep $13.50 a slice!!! We ordered thinking they'd be amazing and boy... More

At lunch here during the September school holidays. The service was very attentive and friendly. The menu has something for everyone and the price reflect the size of the meal. The salt and pepper calamari was delicious and the prawn dishes had plenty of prawns in them. Was very impressed with the children's menu; varied and not all deep fried.... More
