My Husband & I visited Bunja Thai for dinner. The meals were very good, service excellent. Unfortunately as the building is an old bank building it is very noisy! For this reason I will stick with my usual Thai restaurant Piyawat.

If you're looking for a Thai Restaurant...do visit this place. I always love to come here with reasonable price and delicious meals. I always brought my friends and family here too for especial occasion. Their desserts are beautiful and tasty. Meet my expectation and service is excellent. They also have good lunch deals! Try!

We always like to have dinner at Bunja Thai on our trips to Bendigo. The food is fresh & tasty! I was, however, very disappointed with the Chefs special Pork Belly, it was lacking flavor and was soft and fatty! Service was a bit slow this time, it looked like they were caught unawares! The wine we chose had not... More

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I cannot fault this restaurant except to say being seated in the little alcove out front is extremely noisy and difficult to conduct a private conversation. Make sure you don't book these tables and you will love this will be a meal to remember for all good reasons.

Whilst holidaying in Bendigo I was treated to a magnificent Thai meal at Bunja Thai. Bunja Thai's food is truly perfection and with decor to write home about in a magnificent 1860's bank chamber, if you want to impress visitors to Bendigo. The ceiling must me at least 80 feet high. The service and atmosphere is as good as any... More

Our waiter was to die for! We definitely shared some chemistry. Come to this place if you would like to be served by young, muscly men. Food was ok.

The décor is not as good as pictured on their website and Facebook, it is rather drab. The toilets are upstairs, a major inconvenience. The mains were rather expensive for what is an average Thai meal. However, the high point was that our waiter was knowledgeable and very presentable. The management left a lot to be desired. Their Facebook page... More

In the heart of Bendigo, Bunja Thai restaurant is located within an old historical bank building built in 1887. From the moment we opened the door into Bunja Thai, the aroma was very inviting. Authentic Thai menu choices, which did not disappoint, highly recommend the satay chicken it is absolutely delicious! Gluten free menu choices available. Prices were very reasonable,... More

We had booked a large table of 10 for 6.30pm. By 7.15 we still just had jugs of water on the table. We had to get up and ask for beer and wine as no staff came near us. While the food when it did come out (?) was good, the service was so slow due to the number of... More

Glorious setting in one of Bendigo's most beautiful historic buildings. Worth a visit to check that out & certainly recommend excellent menu - some VERY hot - mind the chilli. Well priced, good service & centrally located.
