Yum Yum Yum! The best Thai food I have ever tasted. I am a sucker for Thai food and love my curries and my pad thais. I was recommended to try this place during my visit to Bendigo and I was really amazed by the variety of selection they had in their menu. The green curry and the pad thai... More

We were surprised that this restaurant was so busy on. Wednesday night, but we quickly realised why. The staff were efficient and friendly, the meal was delicious and not expensive. If we lived in Bendigo we would go there a lot but unfortunately we were just passing though on our holiday.

Beautifully decorated old house. Delicious and aromatic food with lots of fresh vegetables. Great value for money and friendly service.

I have been here a number of times since living in Bendigo for the past 2 & a half years as well as other Thai restaurants & this place takes the cake. Great service & the food is always amazing with the great staff listening to your needs, as I cannot stand a super hot curry they always make it... More

I love the décor at Piyawat Thai: it reminds me of my honeymoon. Bendigo has 2 Thai restaurants, which is more than most regional cities can boast. We also have a vibrant Karen community. However, Piyawat Thai caters mostly for the Anglo diner, not ones who lives on chilli every day. It is often busy and has quite a comprehensive... More

I am a very fair reviewer and always try to give the positive spin on where I have dined but in this case, the food was really just so so. I would have like to give it 3.5 stars but given that the service was poor I went down rather than up. The place is very busy and has a... More

The front garden on Mollison St may give a quiet impression but every time I have dined here, or had take-away, the restaurant is buzzing. The owners and staff are great and readily accommodate anything you need. Their menu is diverse and the kitchen is quick. They are happy to provide take-away boxes if you do not finish your meal.... Very enjoyable, have been many times over the years. Mixed entree is a must. Red curry duck is also delicious. Tables are small and squashed in. Overall very good and very well priced.

After travelling to Thailand, this restaurant is pretty close to the real deal. (Minus a few of the "off the beaten track" options seen on street carts) Quirky interior, pleasant staff and large portions. Entrees are good, noodle and stir fry dishes are excellent (We usually order chicken or vegetarian). Tom yum soup is terrific especially with prawns. Some curries... More
