I first visited Bouchon 2 years back - delightful experience and could not wait to get back. So the big night arrived last Saturday. Escargot and then the main course - a duck you would die for. This was our fourth visit to Bouchon, and we were greeted, by the loveliest waitress in Bendigo, like old friends (I'm not sure where the hotty hot hot male waiter has been?). Attentive and knowledgable service. Local produce well selected and well prepared. It's a shame they couldn't showcase some of the local cheese as well. Great setting. Will definitely join one of their cooking classes! How do they produce such brilliant food from that tiny kitchen?

We discovered this little gem through a nearby restaurant who could not accommodate us because they were full! We really enjoyed the whole dining experience on our visit. Unfortunately this breaks my heart but there is noticeable nose dive here. Meals are expensive, wine list so so, service so so. This is a cosy little place that offers great service. The food we ate was great, the steak here was fantastic! The atmosphere is really nice and warm and welcoming as are the staff.
