Nice meal-Dinner & Show

Ate in one of the old buildings when the town was closed but prior to the show. Dinner and show cost approx $80 but the food was good and service was fast. Licenced premises where you can purchase drinks at additional cost. The get you out in time for the show.

Kids loved it, Great day out and even a bit educational and the kids didn't even realise it. Loved the bakery and the Lollie shop.

I spent a full day at Sovereign Hill and enjoyed every minute. The staff are willing to spend time with you and discuss their role in the experience. The animals are well cared for.

The best historical village in Victoria. Much to see, do and experience. The light show at night is also fantastic.

A horse drawn coach in the main street, miners tents, boiled lollies, a mine tour, period costume and amazing trades on display as they were during the Gold Rush. I could imagine how it felt to be there.

We tried to eat in the venue billed as "Victorian splendour". The room was beautifully set up, but empty. We called through to the bar, and she said she' d be with us in a minute. After ten, and having read the menu, we left. So we ate at the New York Bakery. Identical menu. Nice atmosphere, with lasses in... More

We tried a number of things over 2 days and were not disappointed. Really liked the setup of the New York Bakery. Prices are a bit high but adequate for the atmosphere and quality of food. Pub was sadly closed for a private function.

The food is very reasonable in price and variety. You do not need to take your own. Sweets galore and foods available from traditional meals to pies and scones.

Loved the whole concept. Great for anyone interested in history, and the mining era. Very authentic and an exceptional amount of work has gone into putting Sovereign Hill together. We also stayed for the "Light & Sound" show. It was brilliant and well worth doing.
