Great for dinner but breakfast disappointing.

Lovely dinner experience with excellent service and mostly delicious courses. Steak was excellent but the gnocchi with goats cheese was almost too salty to eat. Desserts and wine selection were very good. On the pricey side but worth it for the good food, ambience & good service. However, the... read more

Dinner - Well this just made my day! While looking for something to take back to my room and continue working, Suzanne convinced me to treat myself to a dinning experience delivered by herself and Glenn, I am so glad she did, there service I could not fault, their knowledge exceptional. Food and wine were both delicious, and an education.... More

This is a pleasant conservatory restaurant in the historic Royal hotel. There is a good choice of meat and fish dishes and a comprehensive wine list. The staff are very friendly and made our evening. It was nice to benefit from their knowledge of the menu and wines.

We just happened to stumble across this little gem on our way back from Adelaide. Prices were a bit more than what we wanted to pay for a quick dinner however well worth it! Being from Melbourne we are hard to please. Craig's hotel did not leave us disappointed!

We really enjoyed our evening at Craig's bistro. The service was excellent. We were very well looked after and really appreciated the advice regarding the menu and complementary drinks. The food was impeccable. We shared the pork belly parcels as an entree while waiting for the chateaubriand. The pork belly and the beef were both superb and the accompaniments perfect.... More

A modern bistro located in a classic and historic environment. The bistro is located in a glass covered area between sections of the original hotel buildings. It has a modern theme of black-and-white tiles on the floor to complete the theming. The service was good, and an appropriate range and selection of courses supplemented by daily specials and wine by... More

Dined with friends. Atmosphere, ambience and service impeccable. For me, always a gamble being a vegetarian, no complaints at all, superb meal and presentation, plus chef obviously realised vegetarians have the same appetite as meat eaters and produced a substantial meal. VERY happy!

Enjoyed breakfast at this very charming hotel with a gift voucher. Although a little pricey with money left over moved to the cafe for coffee and souvenir buying all using our breakfast voucher. Lovely helpful staff and a beautiful way to start our day.

Visited with a business colleague just before Christmas - the food and service were excellent - highly recommend the Pork Cutlet. Wine list remains reliable and nice to see Glenn back on the tables as he is very focused on customers being looked after and keeping them informed about what is going on. Nice room which can get a bit... More
