We have eaten at this restaurant before and been happy with the food and service. On Monday we decided to eat here as there are good views of the lake from the deck. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, we understood this as it was busy with groups having Christmas lunches and plenty of people like us enjoying a day out.... More

I feel you are just paying for the view here. Don't take your kids unless they sit still at a table or are in a pram and can't get out. Food is ok but not amazing for what you pay. I don't drink coffee but hubby said it's on par with a McDonalds coffee so not exactly brilliant! Wine and... More

I have reviewed this restaurant before, and decided to give it one more try, only because we were hungry after walking the lake, and they boasted an new exciting menu. The menu promised great things but unfortunately the meals were a huge disappointment. My first mouthful of Whiting??, I was treated with a mouthful of fine bones, which was a... More

Had lunch here recently, Chicken burger slightly over done, service was good but not outstanding, but they were very busy. Price is slightly higher than other places that have lunch deals but if you have views of the lake that is some compensation

Wonderful place to spend some time, but the quality of the meals needs to be addressed, although that being said, nothing was too bad, just basic and uninspiring. Staff are friendly and relaxed. We have been for lunch twice, and suggest coffee and cake or wine and a shared platter would be a lovely alternative to the lunch menu if... More

A picture perfect setting on Lake Wendouree, this restaurant is always busy but is very inconsistent in standard of service and food quality. The staff are always very pleasant but some appear untrained in correct hospitality etiquette. Our main course plates were on our table for more than an hour and a half after we finished, and requested them to... More

Sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake, on a sunny afternoon is a lovely way to share a great platter and a couple of glasses of wine over lunch!

This place takes up a rather great spot and historic building. It's a shame really. The food was just daggy 'trad' meals. Nothing fresh or exciting. Every thing had cream on it! the wine list was uninspiring. The staff are not trained and dont have a clue as to what service is. They had the 'whatever' approach. Bad day?

Great setting, lovely staff and a Pulled Pork sandwich to salivate over. Prices are a bit much like all these type of venues but the view , atmosphere and friendly staff help to make you forget the empty wallet. Highly recommend and would like to have had the chace to have dinner there,,,,,,,,,,,,,
