Good food and wine at Europa makes it a popular place to chose for lunch in Ballarat. The atmosphere is lighter and brighter since renovations, as previously i found it lacked warmth and dingy. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Everyone has something different for main courses and all enjoyed their meals. My lamb curry was full of flavour.

If you haven't been to Europa recently then get out and brave the Ballarat cold. I have always enjoyed Europa. An interesting menu and a great wine list. Well it's had a cosmetic make-over and the premises looks sparkling and fresh. Food is value for money. Staff could be a little more observant but that isn't confined to Europa alone...perhaps... I like it when the staff look pleased to see you walk in the door. We've eaten here a few times over the years and today was as good as always. I had the pumpkin tart (a special) which was very nice. Lemon tart was lemony, as it should be! My glass of Cab Sav was a bit ordinary, but... More

We had heard good things about this restaurant and we're looking forward to taking a group of friends for dinner. However it turned out to be a disappointing evening for us. Entrees were missed for some people in our group and the main course took over 1.5 hrs to be served. We also had to ask to order drinks as... More

My husband and mum came here last Sunday after a friend of mine recommend it to us. When I saw the decor and the menu I thought this looks and sounds good. Well that is where it stops. The service, or lack of was sooooo SLOW. The place was pretty much dead and it still took ages. When our food... More

The best breakfast and coffee - house made bread is yummo! Staff are always friendly and attentive. Love the new renovations.

The french toast here is amazing, although the coffee is average. Service was to my liking, they didnt hover which i like. But always made sure our drink was full and everything was going great. Couldnt recommend it enough

We came to this cafe because the better known L'espresso next door was full. At Europa Cafe, the food was okay (soup and fritters), but the judgey attitude from the waitress left us pretty annoyed. "No tomato, no pesto, no palate?" as she brought our kids' meals out. And then when she was removing them, "And I see we couldn't... More
