We have been here several times now, and never been disappointed! On top of the delicious set menu, they have an ever-changing seasonal specials board that guarantees to delight the tastebuds. To be honest, it is always a struggle to decide between ordering a past favourite dish, or trying something new, as I know that will undoubtedly become a new... More

We have been here before and made a spur of the moment to eat out - we wanted tasty, filling food that we could share and we weren't disappointed! Great value and even in the middle of winter it was packed so we were glad we rang ahead! Po boy sandwiches were great - full of meat, great coleslaw. We... More

As an American, I'm used to some pretty great Mexican and Southern food at home. And its something I miss when I'm here in Tassie. Smokey Joe's definitely does the trick. A great combo of Louisiana flavors, St. Louis bbq, and Mexican dishes, it satisfies the need for spice and southern comfort. Recommend the red sauce if you are after... More

I had eaten here before but obviously did not choose what they are well known for..... This time I chose the BBQ Shoulder with coleslaw and potato..... It was amazing..... I really couldn't fit anymore in and yet I really couldn't leave any on the plate...... Amazing food......

Out of this world flavors, friendly service, a nice quaint restaurant. Had the pulled pork PohBoy, wow. The menu was a challenge however, too many choices that all looked great! Need to go back. Bottle shop across the road was handy also.

This place is a must. I love good American Food but hate average. This place is good very good. We have ribs, prawns, pulled pork, onion rings and plenty of other dishes that I can't remember the names. We drank local US bourban type drink too that we just left for the owner to choose. It was all very, very... More
