We were staying in Invermay and the food here was great. A bit on the pricey side, but i guess you need to pay for something nice and this place delivers just that. Poached Eggs bacon was great, friends had the ham and gruyere calzone = fantastic and wife had the Granola which was all really tasty. One thing i... More

We called in for lunch, the décor is "industrial", a converted building which was once part of the railway workshops and is in two parts plus outdoor seating. We were placed in an area which comprised entirely of glass and concrete walls and as previous reviewers have noted this can make for a very noisy dining experience. The two meals... More

Went to Blue Bar and Cafe for dinner prior to the BOFA Film Festival. Selection of food for the main meal was rather limited especially when we were told that the Steak Tartare was not available, it had been eaten out at lunch time. If you were a vegetarian than the only choice you had was a vegetarian pizza. My... More

Came here for breakfast with a whole group of people the morning after a wedding. From the what I gathered everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.... Also, they had interesting and original menu items, such as breakfast calzones. The coffee was good too.

Have dined here in the past used to be one of my favourite breakfast places then management changed and have been exploring elsewhere. In the area Saturday for lunch thought this place would be packed but no scored a table outside in the sun all other tables taken good sign. Ordered a glass of local wine and a craft beer... More

Industrial chic decor, with a interesting collection of original artworks. Large steel framed windows let in the light and make the venue appear larger than it actually is. One unfortunate downside to this particular look, and it's polished concrete floor, is that all those hard surfaces make this a rather loud place to be. Coupled with the small floor space... More

Recommended by our waitress at the equally impressive Black Cow Bistro, we had a superb breakfast in a sunny window at this cafe. It is a popular place and there is no question as to why - the food as varied, interesting and came out quickly. Excellent standard eggs and other breakfast fare with superb, thick bacon. Coffee was good... More

Lunch with friends before an AFL game in Launceston saw us book a table here because it was close to the ground. It was very noisy and very busy, but on a footy day we were ok with that! What we weren't okay with was the amount of overpriced white plate we received! Gnocchi with prawns in the tiniest of... More

These guys have a GREAT casual dinner menu which includes pizzas for big groups/budget. I had a girls birthday dinner and everyone was very impressed with the great menu! Most of us had the curry soft shell crab- divine! Others had the lamb, prawns, gnocchi...everyone gushed. Great atmos. Great wine list. Out of town for something different? Awesome!
