Blue have beautiful coffee and awesome food. The menu changes regularly, so there's always something new. Good range of cakes etc too.

Lunch with friends before an AFL game in Launceston saw us book a table here because it was close to the ground. It was very noisy and very busy, but on a footy day we were ok with that! What we weren't okay with was the amount of overpriced white plate we received! Gnocchi with prawns in the tiniest of... More

These guys have a GREAT casual dinner menu which includes pizzas for big groups/budget. I had a girls birthday dinner and everyone was very impressed with the great menu! Most of us had the curry soft shell crab- divine! Others had the lamb, prawns, gnocchi...everyone gushed. Great atmos. Great wine list. Out of town for something different? Awesome!

The cafe was quite full this morning for breakfast due to a conference next door. Coffee came quite quickly but floor staff reverted to "we will not make eye contact with customers so that we don't have to take new orders" mode. As a result we ran out of time to order full breakfast but eventually managed to order toast... More

Blue Cafe is a vibrant place to enjoy breakfast and coffee in Launceston. Situated in the revitalised Inveresk area, it's often packed with people during the morning. There is reason for this as it's cemented a good reputation for fine coffee and I have to agree! One coffee has quickly turned into two when catching up with friends here. Have... More

Would have to be most expensive cafe ever, nothing under $24.00 for lunch, $12.00 for a bowl of chips, $9.00 for a large bottle of mineral water. Food tasted fantastic but so overpriced I could hardly believe it and will not be back.

The food was great but the service let it down. We were there for breakfast on a Sunday morning and waited 30 minutes for our coffees. It appeared that people coming in for takeaway coffees were getting theirs quickly while we waited and waited, twice we were told they were on their way and it was a good 10 minutes... More

Had breakfast here this morning. Enjoyed juice, coffee and ham and cheese calzone - very tasty. A busy restaurant and a few 'reserved' tables. We have been here before for lunch and we keep returning for great atmosphere, nice location, wonderful food and friendly and efficient staff.

Despite the presence of the obnoxious Charlie* we had a lovely brekky in this lovely cafe in its lovely location. Can recommend the prosciutto, poached eggs, herb croquettes on asparagus and the corn fritters and the scrambled eggs with bacon and chili jam. Charlie isn't really obnoxious. I'm sure he would be nice to customers he hadn't played football and... More

As someone who doesn't like red meat, I was pleased to see that this menu has a great choice of food I could eat. I ordered something that was yoghurt cheese and kale balls with a hazelnut sauce. The waitress frustrated me by not knowing anything about the menu, but I was pleasantly surprised with the food which was excellent.... More
