Wonderful and fresh!

I adored this restaurant, tucked away beside some historic tram shed's, AND a museum. Perfect. I enjoyed the crispy duck salad immensely. Highly recommend. Thanks Tassie!

This is a gorgeous little cafe not far from the city centre and close to Aurora stadium. THe food is excellent and the coffee was some of the best I had in Launceston. I would definitely recommend this cafe for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Reasonably priced as well. It's not easy to spot from the outside and you could easily walk past it... More

Had breakfast as part of family of 5. Great food and service and the chunky bacon was yummy! But.... the noise was terrible inside. Unfortunately it was too cold to go outside. Admittedly the cafe was busy but it needs some floor covering and maybe acoustic tiles on roof to absorb noise. I measured the noise at constant 80 db... More

Visited Blue for lunch on a Friday with a girlfriend and found the place almost fully booked. Despite this, we had two very attentive and helpful waiting staff. Food was lovely and arrived in good time, at the same time! Not your typical 'café food', but very gourmet. I do not think it is over priced (around $22 on average... More

Enjoyed brunch here today! I had the wood fired calzone with Heidi farm cheese and ham, fried egg, rocket and chilli jam. It all tied together beautifully. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the salmon dish. The cafe has a nice stylish yet relaxed vibe.

I had read good reviews for Blue Café while I was researching my trip to Launceston and decided to stop by after visiting the Museum. I ordered the Crispy Duck and Mango salad and was completely blown away by it. There were so many flavours and textures. I've tried to copy the salad since and failed dismally. Do yourself a... Slightly on the outskirts of the city, neighbouring the museum and university campus, Blue is an attractive cafe with wooden features and lots of natural light. It's a laid-back venue, but with a touch of class. Despite being a "cafe & bar", the menu offers restaurant style food with prices to match. If you want paninis or a quiche, turn... More

On our fifth trip to Blue I've finally got around to reviewing! Great coffee, breakfast is always tasty and interesting (the croquettes are very hard to go past) and the staff are friendly and attentive. Blue is a great little spot for meeting friends and enjoying really good quality food for the right price. Highly recommended.

I have dined here for dinner quite some time ago and was impressed. Recently had lunch there after arriving for a short holiday in Launceston. Wine list is good, by the glass prices a little steep. Food prices also a little steep, but well worth it. We opted for Pizzas to share for 3, and it did not dissapoint. Star... More

We were staying in Invermay and the food here was great. A bit on the pricey side, but i guess you need to pay for something nice and this place delivers just that. Poached Eggs bacon was great, friends had the ham and gruyere calzone = fantastic and wife had the Granola which was all really tasty. One thing i... More
