Lovely Mother's Day Lunch!

My family and I chose Blue Cafe & Bar for Mother's Day lunch and were not disappointed. The service was impeccable and attentive and our meals were served in a prompt manner, even with a full cafe. Meals were enjoyed by all, however we found the main meals to be lacking in portion sizes across... read more

Visit regularly for coffee & the best egg and bacon takeaway sandwiches in Launceston! Have sat in for breakfast and lunch, always a great meal. Recommend the wood fired pizza's, simple and basic with great flavors. Staff are always happy and friendly, nice place to be.

We met family here for coffee at 3:30pm, not realising they closed at 4pm.... Instead of welcoming us for the last half an hour of business, the staff were rude and sarcastic, clearly indicating they didn't want to be serving customers at that time of day. Despite the poor attitude of the staff the coffee and chai lattes were very... More

We were after a late, light lunch, and Blue fitted the bill to perfection. We shared a mouth watering thin crust wood fired pizza - Sicilian style salted and vinegared eggplant with basil, buffalo mozzarella, and roasted and smoked tomatoes ($24); and hand cut pink eye chips with aioli ($12). A glass of Avance Glaetzer Dixon pinot noir ($12) was... More

Blue is one of my regular haunts al2ays a good meal. We love the ambiance and outlook of the cafe overlooking the Academy of Arts and the Museum. The Coffee was divine and Chai was good. We recommend highly.

We had this restaurant recommended to us went there plenty of parking, food was good with a few different selections and reasonably priced. Unfortunately has a concrete floor so very noisy and unpleasant

I've been here quite a few times for lunches with friends and family, and I will keep coming back, because it's in a nice location, the food is delicious (the proscuitto and herb croquettes, Wow!!), with good service and atmosphere. I'll agree with some others that the acoustics in here aren't ideal, but certainly not enough to put me off... More

After visiting the Museum, we wandered over to this cafe - great decor and great pizza to share - terrific service from a very friendly staff member last Saturday! Well done on all counts - even down to the terrific Art hanging on the walls.

I have eaten lunch here several times over the last 18 months. Not being in a prominent position it doesn't always spring to mind as a place to go, but I kind of like that, as it is a discovery to be made. I don't think the cafe-style atmosphere would be to everyones taste but it is what it says... More

I adored this restaurant, tucked away beside some historic tram shed's, AND a museum. Perfect. I enjoyed the crispy duck salad immensely. Highly recommend. Thanks Tassie!
