Had really been looking forward to this night from all reports but never again. Group of 8 and about 2 of those seemed happy enough. Nan bread platter for $11 consisted of 4 corners, i.e. 1 nan bread. Significant other had prawns in some strange orange, watery broth with no flavour just a bit of tang in the broth. I... More

Now to be honest, the name conjures up images of something Greek, not Indian - but I've been reliably assured that perhaps it's just me! Housed in an interesting building the space is intimate with warmer colours. The service can be a little patchy depending on the night, but never horrendous. The food - now this is where it gets... I recently took my partner to the restaurant as he had never been there. he quite enjoyed it, the food was good the service was good and polite the atmosphere was relaxing. I like the idea of the service buttons that way you arent waiting around all night for your order to be taken and if it is busy they... More

The establishment is nice & the food was good. Not excellent but good. I ordered a vegetable curry for $18.50, roti was $3, and rice was $3. There is a button on the table you press to have your waiter come over. The dining room was clean and the staff friendly. Hope this helps!

We visited on Easter Sunday as it was one of the few places open for dinner. Food was lovely but it was a but slow to come out on the night.

Dined recently with family at Pickled Evenings the menu had a range of options and we ended up settling on the banquet. Entree was a samosa and tandoori chicken which was good and then mains were four curries beef vindaloo, butter chicken, lamb and spinach and lentils. Mains were served with rice and naan bread and replenished if needed. All... More

Working on the Tripadvisor rating we read we phoned to book a table for dinner on 16/05 and were told they were fully booked with a large function but they would try to squeeze us in with a 7pm booking. Staying at the Penny Royal Motel so entered restaurant info into my GPS and we were there in five minutes.... More

We were visiting Launceston staying at a lovely B&B called INVERCARGILL just down the road was Pickled and our host recommended it, she was spot on after a day of driving as soon as we stepped inside they made us welcome, they had a reasonable list of wines available including Tasmania ones. The food was very tasty and well portioned... More
