We always enjoy visiting Pickled Evenings as the food is always of a good standard and service is friendly and efficient. The Lamb Madras, Butter Chicken and Kashmiri Naan always comes up a winner. My only gripe would be that most of the curry dishes' level of "curry heat" seem to be on the mild side.

We had the house special of Pickled Beef and The Eggplant meals. The flavours were superb and aromatic, one of the most enjoyable curries we have had. The garlic nan bread was also good. This is the place to go for good flavours

From the outside, I wasn't expecting much, however the lovely food and the kind and fast service instantly changed my mind. Don't judge a book by the cover.

Next door to Fionas B&B. Have passed it many times but it has only recently opened for lunch on some days. Amazing food. Portion sizes outstanding. The lunch box choice is fabulous. Great taste and unobtrusive service. We hope to go back on our next trip.

Went with friends n kids, the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was served in 20 mins, the quickest service I have had so far n the food was absolutely delicious. The kids loved it too. The cherry on the topping was the dessert. Although they don't have a variety in dessert but the gulab jamun were very good. Best of... More

The lady that served us was rude and when I asked her questions about the food she barely spoke. My daughter asked a question and was completely ignored. We ordered take away and it is was the worst value for money I've ever seen.

I went to this restaurant with my family. Terrible food. They served uncooked chicken. Even a basic daal was without any flavour. We gave our feedback to one of the guy, he showed attitude. He started justifying that it's ok to eat uncooked chicken. Kindly do not go to this place. Waste of money.

In Launceston for a couple of nights only. Took a punt on an Indian restaurant for take away as we have a toddler with us. Knew nothing about it but Wow! Friendly staff when we picked up and awesome, awesome food! Would recommend this place to anyone. Glad we didn't take bub as the place was quite intimate and cosy.
