Enjoyable food, rather odd seating.

From interstate, we visited this restaurant down the hill from our B&B. After refusing a table for 2 near the toilet, we were well attended, and enjoyed some very good food that allowed the flavour to come through. Helpings were adequate, with the exception of the rice. Seating could be improved... read more

My partner and I were looking for a restaurant close to our hotel on Trip advisor and came across the reviews for this resteraunt. Both being very fond of Indian cuisine we decided to go there. I called and booked because some of the reviews said that it was a small resteraunt and I wanted to make sure we got... More

I entered the restaurant and was blown away by the ambiance of the restaurant. It was not like a typical curry house. It had a perfectly balanced atmosphere where I could cherish the food and could rewind my self. The music was sodding yet not loud enough to interfere with my thoughts. The service was proactive and the staff knew... More

It was an outstanding dining experience. One could see that alot of effort has been put into the food, drinks and infact every aspect of the restaurant is made with lot of passion! Best Indian ever!

One of the best Indian Food we have ever had in Australia. Right from the start to the finish, it was absolutely delightful. We ordered the chicken tikka and samosas in the starters which were amazing. For main course we had the lamb shank and Fish curry which was full of flavours. The wine list was quite good and very... We had a take away. Tandoori chicken, lamb chops, chicken tikka, chicken tikka Masala, lamb madras, butter prawns, goa veg curry... bland curries, vinegar tasting chicken, watery raita. The only redeeming feature were the crispy naans. Nice people by the counter but I'm really surprised at the positive reviews on TripAdvisor.

When we are going out with friends and wanting a good night out or our boys are home we often turn to Pickled Evenings. It has fabulous food, exceptional service and very nice surroundings. We have a Pickled Evenings Reward Card which gives us 10% off our entire bill as well. Very tasty Indian food.

We enjoyed the newly introduced lunchtime box.. It was very good and well presented. My husband who is not a curry fan enjoyed the tasty meal he ordered. We both enjoyed the yummo breads. It goes without saying we would venture back soon.
