I had a dinner and two breakfasts there. Continental breakfast was good. I loved berry smoothies. However pastries did not look freshly baked to me. Dinner was in-room service. Great char-grilled yellow fin tuna steak with roasted vegies. Loved it. I sent a Thank you note to the chef. Recommend!

Staying in the motel, we decided to "eat in" so to speak. And we are so pleased we did. The staff are exceptional (as they are at reception) and there is nothing wrong with the food either. Tasty, nicely presented, good quality. But it is the little things that make this a memorable night. Unbeknown to me, mention of my... More

Stayed at the Launceston Best Western Plus and sampled numerous cafes and restaurants over a four day period while there. The Tram car bar at BWP has a nice relaxed feel for drinks & nibbles while the Snappers restaurant proved a good choice for a celebratory dinner- the food was excellent, service terrific from friendly staff; a final 'full' buffet... Don't let the fact that this is a restaurant at the Best Western deter you from dining here. The service and food were excellent, a fine dining restaurant.

We ate here as a group, nice atmosphere. My steak was cooked to perfection. I have not had a better meal. Well done

Staff friendly and helpful, service very slow. Meals very disappointing. Steak was dry and lukewarm, not sizzling and fresh as one would expect for $35. Had to pay more for vegetable side dish. Pork belly served only with purple cabbage! Not really a main course. Ordered bottle of semillon sauv blanc from wine list but was served sauv blanc. Lacks... More

Food for myself was nice, my husbands mussels not so nice, which was disappointing as we expected them to taste nice and fresh like most of our other meals whilst being in Tasmania. The girl looking after us seemed to be quite rushed and we did feel for her.

Took some friends from Brisbane to have some local food and wine.. Unfortunately most wines were from out of state. Food was average- 1 steak well over cooked and mussels were so salty that you needed to have a drink of water after most mouth fulls! Half of the mussels were not open! There was no staff member to voice... More
