Great but needs a few minor tweeks.

Snug & warm. Attentive service. Cuisance of steak perfect. Duck slightly overcooked. Red wine (especially the pinot noir) served too warm.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner here on our recent trip to Tasmania. Their wine list is one of the best we encountered in Tasmania (try their Frogmore Creek pinot noir for a real treat). Their duck confit was also very memorable. The restaurant has tables on both sides of a long aisle with enough space between them... More

My wife and I had a dinner at Pierre's recently. We both agree, Excellent Fresh Oysters, Bubbles to match and the steaks were to die for. Levi, USA.

Disappointing and overpriced for what it was. Spaghetti dish had a strange flavour - perhaps the oil? Zucchini tart crust was very hard. The piece of salmon was very small. However the french onion soup was excellent. Service was good. The restaurant was way too hot until they eventually put on the air conditioning. Not fine dining, more like a... More

We chose this restaurant based on the generally good TripAdvisor reviews. We had a three course meal. The wait staff were pleasant, friendly people. The wine by the glass was good value for money.Howeve the food and its presentation was unremarkable to average and did not justify the prices charged. A disappointing experience.

Thanks for that - Shame that neither ourselves or Brisbane St Bistro could not please you whilst in town. Happy travels. Rb More

I have visited Pierres twice in recent months, and though I am disappointed you can only sit in the back area for coffee and snacks, I have still been impressed. The staff are well informed, courteous and accurate. The food and coffee is very good. I had a raspberry and white chocolate muffin with a latte, wonderful. Very fresh, not... More

Hi - so glad you enjoyed your return visit. Now that Pierre's is so much larger than its original size means we need to be a bit savy how we staff and operate the areas thus why the girls probably asked you to have coffee in the rear lounge area. You are however most welcome to have lunch or dinner... More

As much as I like to support local business, I will never return to Pierre's Restaurant. I have had poor experiences there on the last 3 visits however this experience was by far the most ordinary dining experience that I have endured anywhere (and I dine out frequently). The waitress was blase and unhelpful, the food was poor and the... More

It was Friday and we booked a table 5pm to get a reserveration for 8 pm. I was surprised to get a table as on a previous occasion even a day's advance attamempt failed. Food - excellent taste , Quantity not great Probably a bit over priced. Average is $35
