Great food and service

Our table of 4 all really enjoyed their meals, our waitress was really friendly and attentive. Their house-made chai latte is the best I have tasted!

Loved this place for coffee (Lavazza) until they changed their brand of coffee. Given it a go twice since but so disappointed! I tend to judge standards by things such as quality of coffee, whether they know how to make indian tea, whether the calamari is overcooked and whether the plate is whipped away when the first diner finishes, leaving... Hi all I'm a seasoned contributor to tripadvisor so I don't often vent! Karen and I went to a pre wedding party of 100 plus guest tonight ( mostly mainland and young ) who asked us where to eat over the next 3-4 days. We suggested Pierres and as we where walking to the car we thought why not have... More

Thanks. I would like to respond to your review. Without a reservation we managed to give you our last table. It was a busy Friday night and sometimes things go wrong - unfortunately yes there was a mix up with your main course order. When we realised this our Restaurant Manager came to your table to let you know there... More

Had a lovely 'girls lunch' here a few weeks ago. Service was FANTASTIC! Couldn't have asked for better. Lunch menu had good variety, I had a seafood pie, which had plenty of seafood in it :) Thanks for a lovely experience!

The green beans on the Duck à l'Orange was a tad wilty, I would have preferred it to be crisp but otherwise I can't fault the food, the wine and especially, the service. We had the Blackened Maryland to share, the Duck, cheese plate, creme brulee, a bottle of sparkling and a glass of pinot all for $156. I think... More

My wife has been coming to Pierre's since her school days in Launceston in the 1960s and never fails to go there when we are in town - for dinner and for coffee. This is about the best French bistro fare in Tasmania - reliably well cooked, moderately priced and served with flair.

Went in without any reservation after we were refused a table by Novaro's Italian restaurant. Service was excellent, food was great. Great value for money. Staff were really friendly.

Thanks Dr - glad we could help out on the night. Automated booking systems are indeed a good thing but Pierre's is not 100% sold on them ( as yet ). Think we will stick to the good old diary and pencil for the time being. Im sure Novaro's would have impressed you with their food and service, but so... More

We were staying close to the CBD so instead of the normal hotel bistro breakfast we decided to try a restaurant - and were pleased we did. We had a big breakfast and a bagel with salmon. They were generous with everything - really generous. The timing of cooking the ingredients lined up to produce perfect poached eggs. It's surprising... More

We decided to re-visit this once iconic cafe / resturant after a movie some months previous when at 8.30 then, on a Saturday night we were turned away when there were people eating and many tables free because " the kitchen was closing " Hey it is saturday night , it is 8.30 pm." We had been to this restaurant... More
