Wow this place is just getting better. Steak perfect and coffee to finish the best. In Launceston you won't get better believe me. Staff will make you feel so relaxed and you will as me say that time there was very special. Miss it is your choice but also your loss - buy you a coffee if you go enjoy... More

Walked in late on a Friday afternoon, as the room was being prepared for a function later that evening. We only wanted to have a coffee, and were seated towards the rear of the restaurant, near the courtyard. Service was prompt, the waitress friendly. Venue very attractive. Coffee was good without being outstanding, however at $31.50 for 4 large coffees,... More

lunched with a friend. Just walked in and able to get a table. Professional friendly staff and was surprised once inside as its quite upmarket. Food wonderful, a credit to this old established restaurant.

Ok so I am stuck in a time warp as a very regular customer of Pierre and Helen all those years ago and visiting Launceston on a family research trip I had to go there ! The new decor is interesting, loved the still life prints on the walls but where is the love ?? went there on Tuesday night... More

We were very impressed with the quality and presentation of our meals in this lovely little French restaurant. I come from the highlands of Scotland and was brought up on salmon, trout and Venison but have never tasted venison as good as in Pierre's - done to perfection and I was left with a yearning to return on future visits.

Went here for dessert and coffee after a lovely night out. Was met with waitress rudeness and a feeling of unwelcome. When we sat down it was almost like we were and irritation and we were curtly told there was no food service for dessert. Have been here for dessert before and it was awesome but this time will be... Thank you for your message. In order for evening service to run smoothly at Pierre's, we can offer Walk- In customers dessert and coffee but only after the already seated customers have received their main courses. Its a policy we have adopted especially on Friday and Saturday Evenings when those particular evenings can be busy. Having a small kitchen means... More

The whole ambiance and tradition of this wonderful restaurant is well worth a visit. A little more upmarket and the charges reflect this dining experience. Food beautifully presented and service usually very good and attentive.

We have been back to Pierre's a few times now, because we can always rely on a decent affordable meal. Have had the fishpot pie twice and it's full of succculent seafood. We have enjoyed the beer battered fish and chips more than a couple of times. Brother on holiday from the UK thought it the best place he had... More

We happened to walk into this nice restaurant by mistake and certainly enjoyed it very much. Can't fault the food nor the excellent choice of wines. Decor excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, can't fault it at all. And yes, our food was superb indeed! Many thanks.

We had a very nice evening at Pierre's, the staff were friendly, some of the food was good and the rest could have benefited from bit more attention to detail. I started with the Mussels which were great could not fault them, my husband had the French Onion soup which was a bit disappointing and amateurish, I would recommend it... More
