I had lunch with my traveling companion and the service was impeccable, both meals of great quality , did I say the French onion soup was the best,

I had high expectations of Pierre's. The services was good, company was great but the food was very poor. It was boring, had no flavour and was terribly under-seasoned. The deconstructed pumpkin pie was particularly bad - a blob of orange jelly with no taste at all. Presentation was nice but at the end of the day I just want... More

As a semi-regular to Pierre's it is my opinion that the standard has slipped from the very good to excellent standard that one expected to being only average. Not rushing to go back

A group of us went here recently, lovely atmosphere, nice music, great staff. Meals not bad but you would think that if you asked for a steak med to well they would know how to cook it that way. All other guest at our table had a lovely meal.

Wow this place is just getting better. Steak perfect and coffee to finish the best. In Launceston you won't get better believe me. Staff will make you feel so relaxed and you will as me say that time there was very special. Miss it is your choice but also your loss - buy you a coffee if you go enjoy... More

Walked in late on a Friday afternoon, as the room was being prepared for a function later that evening. We only wanted to have a coffee, and were seated towards the rear of the restaurant, near the courtyard. Service was prompt, the waitress friendly. Venue very attractive. Coffee was good without being outstanding, however at $31.50 for 4 large coffees,... More

lunched with a friend. Just walked in and able to get a table. Professional friendly staff and was surprised once inside as its quite upmarket. Food wonderful, a credit to this old established restaurant.

Ok so I am stuck in a time warp as a very regular customer of Pierre and Helen all those years ago and visiting Launceston on a family research trip I had to go there ! The new decor is interesting, loved the still life prints on the walls but where is the love ?? went there on Tuesday night... More

We were very impressed with the quality and presentation of our meals in this lovely little French restaurant. I come from the highlands of Scotland and was brought up on salmon, trout and Venison but have never tasted venison as good as in Pierre's - done to perfection and I was left with a yearning to return on future visits.
