Mostly positive

The food was delicious and the staff pleasant. Its a tad on the exe side - 2 courses and a drink worked out at $80 per person. Having said that, they were generous servings and no one could fit dessert in. While the sourdough bread was fresh, it would have been nicer served warm. Service was... read more

We ate at Novaro's as it was conveniently located to a hotel in which we were staying for one night in Launceston. We were very glad we chose this restaurant. They accommodated our large group of 10 at short notice without a problem. The restaurant was warm and cosy on a chilly night and the staff were extremely pleasant and... More

On holiday from Sydney, Navaro's restaurant was recommended by the hotel we were staying at, not only as it was in close proximity but also because we were told it was one of the best restaurants in Launceston. I would go as far as saying it is one of the best restaurants we have dined in. We did not have... More

As the title suggests, amazing food, quick service and quirky artwork. My partner and I has been recommended this restaurant so we walked in off the street in the hopes of getting a feed. The wait staff accommodated us and allowed us a table until the next booking arrived. The service was quick and the food was delivered quickly. Our... More

I went here with friends (locals) who had been before and we were all warmly welcomed. There isn't a lot of space and I heard the air conditioning was a new much needed addition to the old building where the restaurant is located. There is a good range of food options and once ordered it arrived very promptly (almost too... More

We were lucky enough to be seated at the front window and enjoyed all the ambience of this lovely modern Italian restaurant. The food was faultless, flavoursome and well presented. The service was friendly and efficient. A really interesting wine list capped off our overall experience. This lovely restaurant deserves to be regarded as one of Launceston's best!

My wife and I really liked this restaurant. It had a great ambiance, and genuine and friendly staff. It is a little expensive but the food is very good. We had scallops (good) and the polpette (heavenly) for entree. The main course highlight was the pasta with salmon and asparagus, and for desert, the panecotta was perfect. The place was... More

Had dinner at Novaro's for the first time with 4 friends. Cozy ambience, very attentive and friendly service - it feels like the people who work here (some I guess own the place) are happy to come to work. All our food was delicious, especially the duck and the scallop dish. Our whole party had desserts. I normally don't have... More

My wife and I dined at this little place last night and we're overjoyed at how good it was. Far too often we've been disappointed at well reviewed establishments but not at Novaros, it was fantastic. From the moment we entered, we enjoyed every moment. The food, the wine, the atmosphere and the staff. We will definitely be going back.
