Amazing food. Quick service. Quirky Artwork.

As the title suggests, amazing food, quick service and quirky artwork. My partner and I has been recommended this restaurant so we walked in off the street in the hopes of getting a feed. The wait staff accommodated us and allowed us a table until the next booking arrived. The service was quick and... read more

We were lucky enough to be seated at the front window and enjoyed all the ambience of this lovely modern Italian restaurant. The food was faultless, flavoursome and well presented. The service was friendly and efficient. A really interesting wine list capped off our overall experience. This lovely restaurant deserves to be regarded as one of Launceston's best!

My wife and I really liked this restaurant. It had a great ambiance, and genuine and friendly staff. It is a little expensive but the food is very good. We had scallops (good) and the polpette (heavenly) for entree. The main course highlight was the pasta with salmon and asparagus, and for desert, the panecotta was perfect. The place was... More

Had dinner at Novaro's for the first time with 4 friends. Cozy ambience, very attentive and friendly service - it feels like the people who work here (some I guess own the place) are happy to come to work. All our food was delicious, especially the duck and the scallop dish. Our whole party had desserts. I normally don't have... More

My wife and I dined at this little place last night and we're overjoyed at how good it was. Far too often we've been disappointed at well reviewed establishments but not at Novaros, it was fantastic. From the moment we entered, we enjoyed every moment. The food, the wine, the atmosphere and the staff. We will definitely be going back.

Tried Novaro's on spec and were welcomed notwithstanding a busy restaurant. We chose steak and spaghettini alla marinara with a couple of glasses of house red wine. The beef was cooked to perfection and the seafood was excellent, but the spaghettini were left with rather too much oil.

We didn't have a reservation but we're greeted courteously and shown to our table. Prompt service for drinks and menu explanations. Why can't all restaurants be like this? We followed the waiter's suggestions for wine and what a match! Great cheese platter and tokay for sweets. No wonder people rave about this place!

We dined at Novaro's the first of our five nights in Launceston and it was so good we booked to go again two nights later. We had exactly the same meals both nights, spaghettini marinara and a special ocean trout dish, cooked to perfection. A really popular restaurant which was full both nights but Sarah, Peter and the team really... More

Another beautiful Novaro's meal. Friendly, quirky and efficient service. Lovely breeze through the open windows on a warm humid evening. We started with Prosecco to go with entrees of oysters from the East Coast and Tasmania scallops in a truffle oil reduction. Just had to mop up the sauce from those scallops with the house-baked bread. Went for two more... More
