I've always had great meals at Me Wah and tonight was no exception. Shared the peking duck and moreton bay bug for entrée, seafood birds nest and rainbow beef for mains and for dessert... two words - peanut parfait. You're welcome. The food and service were impeccable, as always.

Me Wah is a fantastic restaurant across the bridge in Launceston. Quality chinese food, and one of the better that we have had. Very old school waiters, similar to the iconic Spring Deer in Hong Kong. Service was quick, and waiters fantastic. Well worth the drive to Invermay. Décor a little dated, but the food makes up for that.

I cannot understand the excellent ratings on Trip advisor. - Mcdonalds is five star top quality restaurant compared to here - this is really substandard chinese food - the decor is dreadful grey dreary and really stuck in the 80s I thought i would give it another chance but i found it to be exactly the same as last time... Dropped in for lunch, we both love Asian food, wife is qualified chef and usually hard to please. Service, atmosphere, quality, value, taste, all exceeded the mark. Will be back, often

Entrée was excellent. A First class wine by the glass, eg Freycinet Sauv Blanc was superb. The Coal river Chardonnay, not in the same class. My main dish was a little disappointing. Ordered the duck and according to the menu accompanied by vegetables/trimmings. When the dish appeared, almost exclusively sliced duck. Forced to order separate side dish. Fairly expensive, when... Dined with a group of 20 people and the service was flawless. For convenience sake we had pre-ordered our meals from the very extensive menu and they managed to deliver every meal accurately and timely. The staff were very professional and obviously well trained. The portion sizes are suited to the price and the food is decent but nothing extraordinary.
