Not to sure about the previous posts comments with the gratin dish, my partner and I spent the evening at this restaurant after a long days travel and had the same dish......... We loved it. Our budget doesn't allow for $A70 a head meals every night but Launceston is a port city and seafood was what we were after. Hallams was excellent for location, decor and ambiance. We end up having our family get-togethers here. Multi-generational love!!!! Food is fantastic, wine selection and location not bad! YUM FACTOR ++++ but can be a tad $$$$$ if you are on a tight budget. more
