The food is quite nice, a little pricey but worth it. The customer service is Excellent & the staff know everything on the menu, also very tentative with your needs. The customer service made the night, I would recommend this restaurant. In Winter a nice Fire burning & nice views.

We were so looking forward to a great night out but found Hallams to be expensive for what was served. It was very busy and staff were rushed and distant. We won't go there again.

The quality of the food, the setting and the staff were all excellent. The scallops and the fish were both some of the best we have had and the deserts were so good we came back the next night for more! We have very confidently recommended this restaurant to lots of people and hope to go back again ourselves. I... More

Party of four on a very cold and wet day. We enjoyed a hearty seafood chowder and then one couple shared a seafood platter, whilst the other couple had Blue eye Trevalla. Fish was just devine, cooked to perfection, with a tasty salad to compliment. Lovely Tassie wines also. Highly recommend for a special occasion. Not really a children's restaurant.

Just had an amazing dinner at Hallam's Waterfront; the appetizers was down to earth I recommend having their chowder and the scallops. For the main I had the Trevella which was just heavenly. Anyone who is looking for seafood and don't mind paying the price, the you came to the right place.

Our hotel recommended Hallams and it was a great night out. The menu is local food and wine only. We had scallops, octopus, sea coral and blue eye. Local Tamar Pinot Gris to wash it down We were told its the best place to eat by locals and it lived up to their word. Totally recommend eating here if you... More

Hallam's is not somewhere you go for a typical meal. It is there for those times when you want something a bit special. Went in for dinner on a rainy winter's evening and honestly, I was expecting to be disappointed. I doubted whether the restaurant would 'live up to' the positive reviews that I had heard. Especially on noting that... More

Went for dinner with friend and order the supposed "Sea food platter". four oysters a few mussell and a couple of frozen prawn thrown onto a plate with RAW salmon, not smoked and two pots of bottled seafood sauce and sweet chili sauce for $50 + was an absolute letdown. the freshness of the food left a lot to be... My boyfriend and I went to Hallams Monday night for dinner, our meals were perfect and the service from the lovely waitresses was so nice (which can sometimes be hard to come by)! but not here, which is why we continue to keep going back.. and for the food of course! I had the trevalla and my partner had the... More

Could not fault a single dish. Apart from the sensational seafood, the beetroot and hazelnut salad was to die for. The meal was also very reasonably priced for the quality that was delivered. Definitely one of the best seafood experiences of my life.
