We dined as a family of 4 (2 adult children) and the service was amoungst the best we have experienced ever. This was even before we were seated (without reservation). The waitress (Sat PM 18th Oct 6pm ish) was outstanding all evening and genuinely made you feel like she was enjoying her job. She had very good upselling skills with... More

I went for dinner with my family. Lots to choose from and the menu includes pizza, pasta, salads and a variety of mains. My daughters enjoyed their Gnocchi and chicken salad, though the chicken in the salad could have been served warm. I enjoyed the special twice cooked pork belly which was a very generous serve and the crackle was... More

After a long day of driving this restaurant was just what we needed. We had the American Surf and Turf and Mushroom Rissotto. The service was friendly and fast, the meal sizes just right and flavours were great! We felt the prices were pretty reasonable too. Our only criticism is my husband's steak which he ordered medium was raw in... More

Food was good, service was good, serve was a little small. As in most Australian eating places, the price was expensive. Perhaps the waitresses could refrain from tattoes as it is not a good look.

Well food average Customer service sloppy Repaired once you pay for your meals the customer service tends to be thank you for your money now go. I expect the meals to come out sooner than what they did considering there was only a handful of people within the establishment

No matter what the occasion Elaia is a go to spot for coffee, cake, breakfast, lunch or dinner. The meals are a little pricey but definitely worth the price payed. Service is always great and meals are always tasty. One of Launceston's best dinning locations.

I came to Elaia for dinner & found it, as usual a very pleasant experience. Staff were all very friendly - ensuring we had everything we needed. One of the waiters would come around every 10 so minutes to top up water etc. We ordered the Smokey Chicken Pizza & bowl of chips with garlic sauce.... absolutely beautiful!! The pizza... More

A cafe style meal with lots of variety. Nice choices of wine. The service is really good. I had ricotta gnocchi with chicken veg sauce followed by citrus pie. Interestingly there were several people, like me, eating alone. It might attract people travelling on business. Nice ambience and open fire.

From my experiences at Elaia I would say its way underrated!! Food is a little overpriced... although Coffee is great!! Although it doesn't open very early.. came in one day for breakfast before work (6:30am) and not open:( I had to go to Aromas whose coffee isn't as nice... and they were only open for tea & coffee... no breakfast......
