I have had a few meals here in the past and found Elaia always as a pleasant experience. However, today I stopped by for a quick lunch and I was bitterly disappointed. I ordered coffee and it came out fast and was nice. I then had to prompt the waitress that I would like to order some food. I waited... More

I eat here regularly for breakfast when on business in Launceston. Generally the food is very good (Lunch's and Pizza's in particular. On this occasion however I had the big breakfast and was a little disappointed with the quality of the sausages and bacon and also the bread given the price of the meal. The coffee was excellent though and... More

This cafe surprised me as to the quality of its food. We ate there for breakfast (twice) and lunch. Good menu selection. Recommend the berry pancakes for brekky!

We dined as a family of 4 (2 adult children) and the service was amoungst the best we have experienced ever. This was even before we were seated (without reservation). The waitress (Sat PM 18th Oct 6pm ish) was outstanding all evening and genuinely made you feel like she was enjoying her job. She had very good upselling skills with... More

I went for dinner with my family. Lots to choose from and the menu includes pizza, pasta, salads and a variety of mains. My daughters enjoyed their Gnocchi and chicken salad, though the chicken in the salad could have been served warm. I enjoyed the special twice cooked pork belly which was a very generous serve and the crackle was... More

After a long day of driving this restaurant was just what we needed. We had the American Surf and Turf and Mushroom Rissotto. The service was friendly and fast, the meal sizes just right and flavours were great! We felt the prices were pretty reasonable too. Our only criticism is my husband's steak which he ordered medium was raw in... More

Food was good, service was good, serve was a little small. As in most Australian eating places, the price was expensive. Perhaps the waitresses could refrain from tattoes as it is not a good look.

Well food average Customer service sloppy Repaired once you pay for your meals the customer service tends to be thank you for your money now go. I expect the meals to come out sooner than what they did considering there was only a handful of people within the establishment
