Mediocre omelette

Positive: Avocado on toast was good, hard to mess up though, a 3yr old could do that. Negatives: Tea was cold on arrival. Besides the omelette looking terrible, it tasted horrible as well. Overcooked eggs are the worst.

If you want a good coffee and breakfast then this is definitely worth a visit. They do a great eggs benidict and some great pancakes for the kids. Was that good we went back the next day. Was a little on the expensive side.

Brilliant breakfast. French toast with maple syrup and crispy bacon was to die for! Elaia breakfast (the lot) was huge and delicious! Smashed avocado could have done with something more (maybe feta, or seasoning) but overall a great spot for breakfast. Very good tea and coffee too! Decor was very cute and quirky!

I had salmon and scrambled eggs and flat white, partner tea and toast, cost $39.10. Worst thing toast was toast with liquified jam. Butter and jam were the little sachets in plastic and foil, by the look and prices should be proper jam & butter.

Great service, lovely coffee, warm, modern and cosy atmosphere, delicious desserts just needing a vegan option to cater for a wider variety of clientele.

Well the meal was filling and delicious. The menu was a eye opener lot of choices including the specials board. However the staff was hanging around talking when customers needed to be served us included. The dessert WELL no thank you as it states better than what the Italians can do it I have to say it was disgusting Italians... More

UPDATED REVIEW: I have been here a number of times since my last review and Elaia certainly earned its excellent rating. I really do love Elaia's location, the fact parking nearby is so easy and the range of indoor and outdoor seating (and take-away). The food has been fantastic, with such a short wait time and decent portion sizes. Some... More

Regardless of where ever you are staying in Launceston, take a walk or take a drive to this café. The coffee is great. Breakfast was yummo … between the two of us we tried eggs benedict, classic breakfast, smashed avocado, omelette, scrambled eggs and mixed berry pancakes. Breakfast menu goes through to the early afternoon which is very convenient. The... More
