Wow. What is not to like about this place? After reading the reviews from Trip Advisor we made sure we stopped in here for breakfast on our stay in Launceston. And we are so glad we did. Having said that, our visit did not start well as we found ourselves sitting on stools at a counter as all the tables... More

During our road trip to Tasmania for 2015 new year, we had a lot of great food experience in Tasmania, but the breakfast that we had in Cucina was the highlight of our trip. We were 5 adults and 2 very hard-to-please kids. It was my suggestion to have our last breakfast in Launceston at this cafe just because I... More

Great food, massive servings, the best coffee I've had in years (and I'm from Melbourne) and good prices. Served by a lovely young man who was so efficient.

I thought I would check this place out for myself after reading some of the great reviews online- as soon as I walked in the place was bustling- obviously very popular! I ordered the cucina eggs benedict with a side of hash brown and a Combo Juice... Everything was ON POINT! Cannot fault one single element in my plate! It... More

We were advised to dine breakfast here and were so pleased we did. We arrived about 10.00 am and the joint was rocking and crammed packed to the rafters..tables were reserved and were turning over regularly. Fresh cooked everything including choices of breads and toast as well as freshly squeezed juices. Had there been a table outside we would have... More

Sorry but coffee was very ordinary, simple eggs on toast was poor as was eggs benedict. Had been recommended but we felt it was ordinary

This has become our favourite little cafe for breakfast/brunch. We walked in and got the last table left and were greeted immediately by friendly staff who took our drink order straightaway. We received our freshly made juices in great time seeing as they were so busy. If you are looking for a big breakfast try the "breakfast stack" it was... More

Visited for breakfast. Seated straight away by a staff member who wasn't unfriendly but not exactly super friendly either... Menu looked great, lots of options to choose from. Thankfully the (different) woman that took our order was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely delicious full breakfast, would definitely have it again. Drinks were a bit pricey, $6.50 for an orange juice... More

If you like Eggs Benedict this place is for you, they had many different types of eggs Benedict. I am not a huge fan so can't really say if the one I had was a good one or not.

On the basis of other reviews we thought we'd give Cucina Simpatica a go for breakfast. We weren't disappointed. Perfect eggs, great pancakes, fabulous juice and super chocolate milk shakes. The coffee was the only small low point as it was a bit bitter. We'll be back when they're next open!
