Didn't have a meal but was keen to watch the Glenleg sunset out of the almost cyclonic wind. The front bar was very comfortable and $4 spirits from 7pm to 10pm added to the occasion. The counter meals looked pretty pub like so didn't partake and the group of noisy disinhibited young males that occupy every pub in Adelaide (isn't... More

Lovely sunset while eating a wonderful meal. The menu is about sharing meals and good range of meats and seafood. Views of the beach was amazing as the sunset. Recommend this venue for a meal.

This hotel is out of date, still has great rooms and the food overall is pretty good. The shops, beach, with restaurants close by,and your location is the expirence. ..not the motel by itself. It was very expensive. Still worth while staying at the Grand.... Greatest spot to see and only 30 seconds from the beach , meet friends and... More

We had a lovely breakfast buffet with virtually every option we wanted. The cereal choices (7 types) were extensive, 6 types of bread, plus several pastries, fruits, yoghurt options, personal omelette service, pancakes fresh made, 3 juices, lots of hot options and more. The only thing letting it down was the coffee machine. Why doesn't a 5star establishment have a... More

This is a great spot to meet up with friends or family and enjoy the buffet breakfast by the ocean. A plentiful selection of the freshest seasonal fruits, made to order omlettes and poached eggs, make your own pancakes, toast and more. Yum!

We ate in the beachfront restaurant a few times and found it was the best service you could get. The variety of food and presentation of food could not be bettered. The costs were within budget and we would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Not exactly 5 star hotel experience but the quality of food was fantastic. We went in large group and everyone, including vegetarians and kids had plenty to choose from. With the stunning sunset in the background we had a wonderful night out.

Buffet breakfast on a Sunday morning with family members and an overseas guest. Vaste selection to choose from; 3 year old grandchild really enjoyed the freedom of selection and ate the most breakfast I have ever seen her eat ranging from the selection of fresh fruit, eggs, bacon and a small sausage followed by pancakes with strawberries and cups of... My partner, her son/wife/kids and teen son, plus myself (8 all up) decided to visit Glenelg as the Asian festival in the city was cancelled. Around lunch time, on a public holiday monday, we went to the Grand to eat. From the moment we walked in the door it was like being in an updated Fawlty Towers series, the service... More
