Took our teenage daughters there for breakfast. Fantastic food and super friendly staff. Really enjoyed it. Not the cheapest but the friendliest. Happy to pay for that any day. Will go again.

Tucked away off the main strip of seaside suburb of glenelg, this is my all time favourite place for breakfast and/or brunch! The menu is quite extensive with breakfast options to suit all tastes and appetites (although I suggest arriving on an empty stomach!), there are vegan, vego, and meat lover dishes aplenty! I love looking at the specials board,... More

If you are making your way to this wonderful coffee shop - its the coffee that brings people back - you may have to wait for 10 minutes for a seat...its popularity ensures this establishment is in high demand. Nonetheless the food is exceptional, try the porridge on a cool winters morning as it is as good as you will... More

Being from out of town I visited Grind It based on previous TripAdvisor reviews ... and was not at all disappointed. And because I was from interstate I was not quite sure what the score was. I arrived and received an immediate and friendly greeting from one of the staff. The unsolicited offering of water, and the immediate offer of... More

Been here many times over the years and its just unbeatable. Anything you order will be delicious and well priced. Coffees great and comes out before your meal. Its one of my pet hates when I order my coffee well before my meal and it ends up coming half way through my food. You also receive a free tasting spoon... More

Easily one of the best chai teas....ever! Shared the breakfast tasting plate for two (French toast, eggs benedict, muesli sundae, beans and chorizo). On the pricier side at $45, but worth it, you wont leave unsatisfied. Great service too....happy, friendly place to hang out.

Have been here a few times for an early morning coffee- good coffee & staff who greet you with a smile. Haven't eaten here as yet but it's always packed which has to be a good thing.

On our first morning in Glenelg we asked our hotel reception where was a good place for coffee and breakfast. This was the first place they suggested, and it was the only place we had breakfast at for the next 3 days. So what if the decor is a bit scrappy - the coffee, food and service were spot on.

Best breakfast spot in the world! There is something on there for everyone. Healthy options, standard full breakfasts, fresh juices. Try get there early as it packs up pretty quickly and try the I am Sam - it's the best. That's me in the photo :)
