During our stay at Glenelg, visited our favourite venue twice. Best oysters and coldest Coopers. Wish we had this in Seymour!

My wife and I are very regular visitors to Glenelg for business and have enjoyed our dining at the Oyster Bar on each occasion. We visited on Monday evening , a beautiful night a magnificent setting and the staff very helpful and courteous. I ordered a dozen oysters kilpatrick and the calamari for starters along with a bottle of wine.... More

Happy hour on a Thursday night not to be missed. Affordable oysters in a great location. Have a cold beer and enjoy the scenery whilst indulging in oysters Kilpatrick. Doesn't get any better than this.

Naturally one's expectations for a restaurant called "The Oyster Bar" are their oysters. As a lover of oysters I was bitterly disappointed not only in their size (Coffin Bay oysters) but in the taste and very amateur presentation! Being South Australian I always boast about our oysters above other States but I'm afraid I was let down by last night's... More

We ordered a dozen kilpatrick oysters and when they come out they were TINY! The ones I had were lucky to be the size of half a five cent piece! The bacon was yucky pre-cut squares from the supermarket and was used to cover the minimal amount of oyster there was! When it was delivered to the table, the juice... More

We ate, and ate and ate. the oysters were amazing... we just had to keep having more. The service was quick, and the beer cold. Realy enjoyable experience.

We visited this bar on a Saturday at around 6pm and are really glad we did. The place had a great atmosphere and the wines were reasonably priced. We shared a prawn calamari and shoe string chip platter which was delicious. The staff were friendly and it has a fantastic location over looking the harbour.

Casual relaxing place for a drink and a chat, (sometimes live music) with wonderful juicy Coffins Bay oysters.

I don't ever not eat a dozen oysters if I order them but I could have made them in the boot of my car better than the mixed dozen I got today. Wine, service n location were good but suppose to be an oyster bar so focus on the oysters!!
