Oysters naturally good!

Fresh oysters in an interesting range of styles. In my experience always goo, latest visit no exception. Wine list is extensive. Great place to sit and people watch.

1) The Food & Price The price after discount is reasonable and not very cheap. The oyster is just ok and might be a bit below average Australian standard (in restaurant, oyster farm and/or market). 2) the Services They offer special discount on every Wednesday. Even it is crowded and busy on Wednesday, the restaurant should still deliver the food... More

As a huge oyster fan, this was a must-go for me in Adelaide. Visited with a friend and each of us downed at least a dozen oysters each. Had my first ever oyster shot, a bloody mary and it went down pretty well with the oyster. We then ordered Oyster Kilpatrick (not my kind of oysters) and Oysters with Caviar... More

Had a great family dinner, delicious oysters, great Panko prawns and calamari + cheap cocktails. A recipe for a good night. Might have to come back before we fly back to England !

I went to the Oyster bar twice in a week in January 2016. The first time was on a Thursday, the atmosphere was good, not too many people and ordered two glasses of Sauvigon Blanc and a mixed plate with 3 oysters in 4 different variations. Although it wasn't my first time here I always enjoyed going there for the... More

Hello, thanks for your review on our venue. It's good to hear that you come to our venue regularly and enjoy our oysters. In regards to our oyster sizes, this time of the year oysters aren't in peak season, but we still manage to get the best possible oysters our supplier can supply us with. This does mean however that... More

I had previously had oysters at their Western Australian restaurant at Mandurah with friends, they were delicious there and equally delicious here. Try the DARLEYFELLA. They are amazing and i normally eat natural. Prawn twists are also really good.

Dropped in for lunch as we were passing by. No table service, orders taken at bar. Ordered dozen natural oysters. 4 were fine, the other 8 at least a week old! They were so dry that they broke when you put your fork into them. Avoid!!!!

Thankyou for your review on our venue. We have designed our venue to be bar service as during peak times it is near impossible to perform table service as we are an extremely busy place. Unfortunately Oysters aren't in their peak season at the moment but we still manage to get the best possible oysters our supplier can supply us... More

My friend and I went to The Oyster Bar through Tripadvisor and Foursquare recommendations. It's exceeded our expectations! The oyster of the day with chilly punch was amazing, accompanied by grass platter (if you're hungry). Beer or wine, of course, complemented the oyster well! We also saw dolphins at the pier, and commercial boating Temptation. What a nice combination!

We always pop into the oyster bar after checking into Glenelg. A great way to relax in the afternoon. Today we had perfect natural oysters, Paulette's Riesling and calamari. The calamari could have been a bit crispier, but was tender and delicious.
