Short on time but popped in 3 days in a row on our way to dinner just to try something else from the menu. Not cheap but absolutely beautiful oysters with an almost infinate number of choices. Next time we will plan to sit there are try different recipies until we pop! Tried about 6 different recipies, all amazing. Great... More

My wife and I revisited this restaurant after a very long absence and found the meals to be absolutely superb! She had oysters (natural and kilpatrick), whereas I had prawns with an avocado salad. The table that we chose was well situated as was the view. The only drawback was the service, which was almost non-existent.

Thankyou for your review on our venue. We are glad you enjoyed your meal, however we are disappointed that we did not deliver the level of service to make your visit a complete experience. This time of the year is certainly an extremely busy period for us, but there is no excuse to deliver a poor standard of service. We... More

Spend almost a hundred on 4 dozens of coffin bay oysters with no regrets. They're fresh, firm and full of favour.

This area of Glenelg is really nice and offers a great range of bars and restaurants. Oyster Bar is right up there though and offers something tuned to an obvious flavour and taste for oysters. The oysters are delicious and the drinks available are good too. Recommend a sundowners sessions here, very nice!

The Oysters of the Day from Coffin Bay were the best ever! Fresh, and well presented. My dining companions said the Squid (Gluten Free) and Prawn platters were great. But this small restaurant amidst a number to choose from at the Glenelg Marina has little service! We basically helped ourselves to menus, ordered drinks at the bar and waited for... More

Fresh oysters & lots of cold beer, what more could you possibly want? Nice location as well overlooking the marina. Certainly worth a visit if you are an oyster lover, convenient basement parking as well. Check out my travel blog here http://fivestarvagabond.com/adelaide-hahndorf-victor-harbor/

I don,t eat Oysters, although the ones I see being served look wonderful, but I visit this restaurant often. It has a good wine list and tasty snacks and is situated overlooking the the marina. On a nice summer day it is bliss. I usually have the smoked salmon which is as good as you will get anywhere. Its a pity... More

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and a drink. The menu was good and was reasonably cheap. We sat outside the restaurant which over looks the small marina which has some very nice boats docked. We got a small platter for 2 which only cost $35 and was very tasty indeed. Tasty food in a great location, all... More

I had a dozen oysters, chips and salad. Oysters were exactly the right size, not too big and therefore not coarse. They were delicious. The shoestring fries were great. I would give a "5 rating" if two things were changed: freshly baked sourdough bread would be a big improvement on the oyster dish instead of the supermarket variety that was... More
