Good Thai - good night

There are a range of Thai options in Toowoomba, and this one is up there in terms of quality and taste. We shared a range of dishes and each was fresh and tasty. Service although initially quite slow was friendly and seating and decor was comfortable and typical of 'Australian Thai'.

Being new in Town and staying in the area, we popped in for a quick dinner before bed. We tried the Chicken Larb and the Massaman Beef (also known as sweet beef). The meal was beautiful, some of the best Thai I have tried. It was well priced and , the service was efficient and discreet . They even bagged... More

The service was reasonable. Friendly and helpful, but not overly attentive. The food was quite good for a Thai restaurant in a provincial city in Queensland. I have certainly had much, much better, but then again, I have had much worse Thai food in Australia and elsewhere too! Most of the food is quite palatable, but bland by Thai standards.... More

Staff were great. They were let down by a very poor meal. Combination spicy seafood... calamari was like leather and there was a generous helping of it (most of which was inedible) Also no fish in a seafood combination. What's with that? Disappointed.

We had some takeaway as we were staying in the city centre, straight across the road from this establishment. Loved the red curry duck and garlic prawns, but the masaman beef was very tough this dish should melt in your mouth also the fried rice was not what I expected. Never the less this was the owners receipes and it... More

Good food at a good price ,Honey prawns and spring rolls for. Entree were yummy .Big honest dishes prompt happy service at half the price from across the road .I realise it's diffrent cuisine but we were treated very poorly on arrival across the road in the company of a lady who was 39 weeks pregnant and fell into Dees... This was our first time at Dees and while you wouldn't come here for the atmosphere we both enjoyed the food. The portions were huge and the service was excellent. The meals came out very quickly and the waitresses were kind and courteous. The prices range from $16 - $21 for a main. I think i would just get one... More

We eat at Dee's regularly and take visitors along too. Look it's not the greatest Thai food ever but it's fresh, generous and cheap. Honestly what more do you want for a quick dinner. If you order a number of stir-fry style dishes you are going to be weary of broccoli and carrot, even though it is very tasty. I... More
