A nice place to visit

The Chocolate Cottage itself is pleasant . The food is a bit overpriced but it is enjoyable for a treat now and then. The view outside is spectacular and the shops outside are nice to look through. I like the chocolates the best.

Still a lovely setting but chairs uncomfortable and meals are over priced for what you get. Breakfast is disappointing for the cost and not value for money.

Love the atmosphere here,on a nice day to sit out in the park like area and enjoy the view,or inside on a chilly Toowoomba day, enjoying their amazing food, gorgeous homemade chocolates,Devine coffees, also some great gift lines to purchase, heads up if your local try for a weekday it's crazy busy during the weekend & parking can be nightmare.

Visited 3 times so far. Gorgeous setting, great food, great gift store when you want to surprise your chocolate lover with something more exciting than a box of Favourites, but don't let the chocolate theme leave your lenses rose tinted. Agreed with the other reviews on the terrible service. The earliest complaint was from mid 2014, so check what traumatized... More

visited during a break in house hunting. Don't get me wrong it was nice with some good coffee and a brownie, my partner had a pot of tea and scones. Total cost $32. My brownie was $8.80. The venue is quaint and there are tables interspersed between items for sale. Nice break but much more than I would have preferred... More

My friend & I visit the Chocolate Cottage regularly as a treat because it has a very special setting looking out to the east & great shops to browse. We always have a sweet and on the last few occasions have found the selection somewhat limited & uninteresting. They seem to be catering more for gluten free patrons with flourless... More

We have visited this cafe many times over the years and though very pricey was worth a visit for the outdoor dining and veiws. On the occassion this month we went there were four of us and we were quite disappointed. We all had different meals, there were no sides just the burgers etc ordered. One of ther meals served... A good place for a casual lunch in work gear, or all dressed up for a party. Great area for the children to play, with green grass, and a climb able tree. The views are fantastic, and plenty of small boutique type shops to look at. Service tends to fairly slow, food fairly pricey but freshly made and very edible.... More

We have eaten here as a family and often with other friends. There is a large outdoor grassed area that means there is nearly always room - even without booking. A great area for the kids to get up and wander around. The wind was a bit chilly in winter but was welcomed on our last visit. There is a... More

The perfect lunch venue at Higfields about 15 minutes drive north of Toowoomba city. The menu is not extensive but for breakfast or lunch the food is consistently good quality. The view to the east is spectacular and there are plenty of open air tables to enjoy the fresh escarpment air. The children can run around in the park like... More
