Weekend away

Had an awesome 3 nights in one of the cabins. Clean, comfortable, cool and of course amazing views. Had dinner at the Chalet twice and althought they are simple meals, they are well cooked and very satisfying. Crumbed steak was huge and delicious. I shared it with my daughter and it was enough for... read more

Great lunch. Well priced, fast service and great food, all with a great view. It was a little busy when we were there but there was minimal wait and the burgers were yummy.

Went up for lunch, the smell of overused oil in a deep fat frier overwhelmed the premises. Decided to have a coffee before ordering. The coffee was weak in the extreme, insipid, undrinkable and made with UHT milk. Staff had attitude and didn't seem like the sort of people who handled complaints well. If you need to eat nearby, I... More

We had a passable coffee here while enjoying the gorgeous rural views down the Pioneer Valley and out to sea. Every dish on the dinning menu featured 'with salad and chips' and a lot of deep frying.....plenty of people appeared to be enjoying their meals with views - no hang gliders launching at the time - but we just opted... Stop off for lunch was pleasant and the view of course is the main reason for stopping here. The restaurant was quiet busy (as always) but the meals came out quickly. Bit of a line up to order though. Lots of old pictures and other quirky items to look at inside.

We came in for lunch and then returned for dinner! Casual service from bar staff compliments the laid back atmosphere of this elegant building, perched on a hilltop overlooking the beauriful Pioneer Valley. If a photo opportunity is all you are after, I advise you check out their blackboard menus anyway, you will not be disappointed!

Our first anniversary. We had a 3 night stay in Eungella and decided to have our anniversary lunch at the Chalet. It was so good we had dinner there as well. Totally impressed. While I only had crumbed steak for dinner it was the best my wife and I have ever had. Great vista and friendly staff.

We had a relaxing lunch here, table service was good and the serving sizes generous. The view from here is nothing short of beautiful, looking down the valley while dining. Plenty of menu choices, too.

Had intended to have cake and coffee here, but cakes seemed very expensive so we just had coffee and afraid it was undrinkable - the waitress did add another shot to the very milky drink and was very apologetic.....but coffee still pretty ordinary. Great views though.

Had a lovely lunch here after spending a couple of hours exploring the Eungella National park. Spectacular view to look at whilst having lunch.
