This restaurant is a family favorite. Don't you hate it when you tell your friends about a fantastic restaurant and the night you go it's a little lack luster? That will NEVER happen when you take them to Kampung Malay. The meal you order today is the same deliciousness it was last week. The staff are wonderful, they are casual... More

Wow ! Kampung Malay, Slatyer Ave, Gold Coast Staff already know our order That's because the quail & the coconut curry soup is so absolutely delicious we cannot tear ourselves away to try anything else on the menu ! Bottle store next door, free parking, calm, good natured staff, great prices, informal dining decor with excellent acoustics This is important... More

This restaurant is a favourite of ours - we have dined here many times and find ourselves always going back for more. The food is always delicious and full of flavour. They have a huge selection of dishes - something to suit everyone. We especially love the roti bread for entre - it's light and crisp and comes with a... More

If you are out to impress anyone with your 'knowledge of the coast's best restaurants' make sure Kampung Malay is on your list. The food here is beyond words.. I've dined in a lot of asian countries and Kampung Malay is one of the few places that makes it just like they do. I even tested this place out on... More

Great BYO restaurant. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and the prices weren't expensive. The menu had a lot of choices and also offered banquet.

Another great meal at this restaurant. This is one restaurant that is truly "consistently good" and priced very well. I have enjoyed many meals here with my family when we are all together. When on the Coast well worth a visit, but do book early, the place is alway packed....for good reason. As for a favourite meal, that would be... More

Yumo- Great Food, Great price, Great service This is a great place to eat, inside is a little out dated, but who cares the food is fanatic, and the prices are insane. This is a BYO so works out very good when dining here. Where else can you go and have 3 entrees 4 mains and rice for under $100... More

We had a Saturday lunch at Kampung Malay (Bundall). The restaurant, located in a small suburban shopping strip and decorated in the typically minimilist Asian style, does not stand out as anything special. The food however is very good. The restaurant was only about a quarter full when we arrived, so no surprise that we got very prompt, but also... More

A few times in the last two or three months I have noticed that the food has not been as delicious as it has traditionally been. My wife and I had takeaway tonight, sweet and sour pork and fried rice, and it was very stodgy and appearance was dry and it looked and tasted like it had been previously prepared... More
