Been here three times and loved it every time. Always had the pork belly as it is AMAZING. Staff knowledgeable too.
Had a pleasant early Saturday dinner - my bride had the lasagna and I had the lamb. Service was outstanding. House Cabernet was a decent pairing. Overpriced but by Gladstone standards, it is worth it where "MacDonalds" is the most popular dinning establishment.
I have recently been to Rock Salt twice, once for a family dinner and second time for lunch with a girlfriend. Whilst the restaurant lacks a bit of atmosphere, the service was great. The tapas came out very quickly... some great, some just okay. The calamari was excellent. In general, some of the tappas were overpriced for the quality, but... More
great food, excellent staff, and awesome lounge with tapas at every times and amazing choice of cocktails from all over the world!!
First up, nothing has ever gone wrong here after many visits. The menu is not that large, it basically has one of everything, the Pork Belly is worthy of a repeat visit. The licensed restaurant is not cramped or noisy, there is some verandah areas and the table service doesn't leave you waiting even when they are busy - a... More
Enjoying a night out with friends was made even better dining at Rocksalt. The meals were excellent, the cocktails were flowing and the service was attentive from start to finish. Have found this place to be hit & miss in the past but couldn't fault it on this occasion.
Have been here several times in the past year. Always have a good meal. Prices are normal for gladstone, service is usually very good! The barramundi was beautiful, as was the pork belly. Tapas and cocktails are a very popular, especially on a Sat night with friends. Breaky is ok, a bit small compared to other places. Overall, very good... More
Went there every night and for breakfast during my stay in Gladstone. Food was excellent, although pricey. Service with a smile made me feel welcome.
The night before our wedding we invited our bridal party to meet at Rocksalt's revamped bar area. We didn't book but the service couldn't have been better. Food was spot on and gluten free (very important for me as I'm coeliac). I've always left the restaurant feeling impressed and this time was no exception; thanks Rocksakt!
I travel all over the country and the meal I had at RockSalt was fantastic. Started with a selection of Tapas and the Roast Pork which was perfectly cooked and tasted great. The service was very good not to imposing but enough to not feel left out. The price was good considering the quality of the food.
