Have stopped by several times for a pint in this lovely traditional pub with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. On my most recent visit I had a delicious pork sandwich, next to the fire. Perfect on a cold day.

An impromptu lunch with friends and family. The helpful staff quickly put together a table for ELEVEN of us. Food was fabulous and generous, couldn't manage a pudding. Prices very reasonable. Will return very soon.

The food is good, but £2.30 for 1/2 a pint of coke is ridiculous - rip off Britain at its worst – how can coke cost more than beer? I feel robbed!

I was visiting friends for the day & they had booked a table for Sunday Lunch The restaurant was full during the whole time that we were there - as soon as people left a table, more came in The atmosphere was warm, friendly, & cosy The staff were extremely polite & helpful despite being so busy The menu was... Every year we have a family get together at a halfway meeting-point in the East Midlands for a pre-Christmas lunch and from the very first phone call to make the booking the team at the Wheel Inn made it a good experience. We had a couple of people with complex food allergy requirements and it was clear from those 1st... More

Called in by chance & was very impressed. Good staff, excellent food, very friendly, pleasant atmosphere and reasonably priced. The pie in particular was superb.

I have dined in this cosy little pub a number of times and have never been disappointed. The food turned out is always flavoursome, well cooked and generous in portion size. The staff are always attentive and friendly without being fussy. Must try the bread and olives to start. The bread is divine! Go for a starter if you think... More

Browsed trip advisor looking for somewhere near Grantham for a Sunday roast and came across this place. Booked in advance - glad we did as it was packed! Service was very friendly if a bit slow - took 15mins to take order and another 30-45 mins to get food - but it was busy and we weren't in a hurry.... More
