Great little gem

We always go to trangs when we are down in Wollongong, this is a great little oasis and very resonable in price, the pho tai is always wonderful if you feel like soup, comes with beef, noodles, bean sprouts and you can add your own condiments, the fresh rice paper rolls are great as well, they... read more

Lunch drop in, pork spring rolls not home made, very average, garnish on plate - cucumber old and dry very poor presentation, beef pho - basil tired, lemon less than one whole slice, chilli sliced from previous day, soup not made with a lot of love. Newspapers weeks old not even current. First visit and possibly last

Smack bang in the middle of Wollongong is this little gem of a place. My family and I have been regulars for well over 10 years, and we try to book for New Years whenever we are able. The food is awesome and very fresh tasting. The rice paper rolls are awesome and worth a visit alone! If you like... More

Trang is authentic and cheap. The food is great, the service is lacking I feel. If you believe you get what you pay for then you really do. I'd prefer to pay a bit more and get served a bit better. However for authentic Vietnamese I'd definitely recommend this place.

Have been to trangs many times over the last 24yrs and always great food. Didn't disappoint on Good Friday when not much else was open and we came back from a long trip to find they were open. Fresh fast and friendly service. Value for money.

Trang is on the main food street in Wollongong, one of many shops ranging from cheap and cheerful to fine dining. Trang is at the cheap end; it's possible to eat well here for $12/head. Well-made and typical Vietnamese food, with the various Pho combinations better than average. A reliably good, cheap, quick lunch if you happen to be in... More

Trang's food is good without being anything unusual, with bright, friendly and quick service. The restaurant itself is pretty featureless, just a big room with light-coloured walls and simple tables and chairs but we weren't there to linger anyway. The meal was enjoyable but unremarkable, the prices cheap. Trang's does not have a licence but there is a pub over... More

Good service, amazing food and always a good time! Have to try the beef pho and prawn and chicken rice paper rolls. So fresh and tasty. Shredded chicken salad is always good too! And ginger chicken.

We have been several times to Trangs and really enjoyed our meals there However Last night we had dinner there and it was terrible! Prawns were raw in the Combination Vermicelli, my wife had a hair in her food and the dim sims tasted like they had been frozen and barely reheated. The chicken in the combination fried rice was... Cheap, yummy and quick service!! One of my favourite restaurants in Wollongong, always get takeaway from here and occasionally dine in! A good feed.
