This place is something of a local institution, having been at or near its current location for decades. OH and I used to come here with our kids "back when" and we still enjoy it. We visited about a week ago when we were in town for a couple of nights. The food was very good,as usual and the service... More

I wouldn't be coming back here again. The food prices are high and not worth what you're paying for. There are definitely better Thai places for similar prices or for less. I had their duck curry and it had more fruits in it than duck. There was grapes in it which was a shock and from my considerable experience with... More

We eat here regularly and also enjoy their takeaway. They make the best massuman beef I've had, and all of their dishes are fresh and authentic. The green curry is also awesome. It's always busy so make sure you book for a Friday or Saturday night. Service is always friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

My wife and I decided to try this place after walking past it a few times, and noticing that it was always busy. It was a great decision. The food was genuinely excellent. We had a prawn Penang curry and a vegetarian pad thai. The service was good and the prices reasonable. A winner.

I have eaten takeaway from Thai Carnation on two occasions now as part of a work function. On both occasions the food has been fantastic. My last meal was the panang curry with vegetables and tofu. The flavours were amazing and while the tofu wasn't the best, the vegetables were fresh. I'm looking forward to attending the restaurant for a... More

We have been here a number times, more often on a lunchtime. The food is consistently good but it just really annoys me that you have to specifically ask for the lunch menu - at lunchtime!!? It is clearly promoted on the door but when you ask for it, the head waiter gets into a strop and has to retrieve... More
