I'd been to Diggies a few times before & went away sated. The view is right on Wollongong's spectacular North Beach, the cycle track running past the window seat is made for people watching & the 30's ambiance of the eating space is good as well. However this time for our Breakfast, nothing but pure dissappointment. It was the little... More

Great food, friendly staff and the venue has a wonderful view. It can be a little expensive, but the location is worth it.

Sunny day ... By the beach in Wollongong... Perfect day out !!!Have been here many times , and I do agree with the reviews read ,service can be hot&cold ..hit and miss, it is nevertheless consistently on the poor side today was rather slow ,but food did make up for it, had steak sandwich and garfish burger. Presentation and taste... More

I can only echo what everyone else has said here. Diggies had a great location but is almost too good as it overcompensates for what is an otherwise average cafe. There is often a wait of ten minutes or more for tables at peak hour and food can also take up to 30 or even 40 mins to arrive. We've... More

Fantastic spot for breakfast but they could do a better job on the coffee - the flavour was fine but WHERE'S the creme The food was OK but could do with a touch of class in the style and presentation departments

Great view and sweet staff doesn't make up for Coles cafeteria single serve jam and butter in foil: pretty ordinary.

I decided to treat myself to breakfast out on a weekday. I haven't been to Diggie's for more than a year, but always enjoyed it and thought it would be the perfect choice. I wish I'd gone elsewhere. The food (eggs benedict) was emblematic of my experience there: sourdough and eggs nicely cooked, but the 'spinach' from the menu was... More

This is a great place to sit & enjoy food & a great coffee however, the service isn't the best, tables now seem rushed & cramped. The food is good, not great & is becoming increasingly expensive. This place is great for coffee but after being ignored for half an hour on our last visit, I can understand why there... More
