Great to sit by the water on a lovely sunny morning and watch people walking by. Breakfast is a little on the expensive side. Most dishes I have tried are good, my favourites are Eggs Benni or for something a bit sweeter, the pancakes (order extra fruit). Coffee is excellent.

Food was very nice, little bit expensive. Great view. Only problem was there were a lot of people working and they still took a long time to seat us and when I went to pay they had lost our entire order, so had to wait until the waiter had time to enter it in again.

Had poached egg mushrooms and hollandaise sauce - waited 50 minutes. Mushrooms cold. Chai tea was very weak and really didn't taste like chai tea. My friend was also disappointed with tea. She enjoyed her pears but said they were very sweet . Tables vey close. Expensive for service and poor quality with meals.

We were staying at the Novotel for the weekend and I looked up trip advisor and saw that Diggies had a great review, so all sorted thought we would go there for breakfast, I rang beforehand to booked as we had seven and was told did not need to. Of course when we turned up we had to wait for... More

My partner and I went to Diggies on Anzac Day, we were both shocked to discover that we were charged $5.50 per large coffee and $6 for an extra peice of toast (not thick or even sourdough). To top it off we were charged an extra $3.59 p/h surcharge. We checked their website when we got home and they normally... More

I've frequented Diggies over the years and found it was becoming too expensive and the quality/sizes inconsistent or too small. The place was difficult to order in and I felt I was waiting a long time for food, which was holding up tables and the whole eatery. Now, returning I felt that the expense is still there but the standards... More

Came here while we waited for our skydive. I ordered poached eggs on toast and asked that they be runny - the way poached eggs are meant to be. The food took literally 55 mins to come and my toast was burnt and eggs were dry. By then, we were rushing and had to eat our breakfast really fast. It... More

Love coming here for breakfast when I'm visiting the gong. It get's pretty busy so very lucky to have gotten a table without a reservation. The ricotta pancakes are always a favourite of mine. light and fluffy, served with banana and maple syrup. Coffee is delicious and service is always consistently good. The location is right at the beach so... More
