what a spot! Right on the beach. We had booked the 'private' room for a business breakfast. Service was pleasant but very slow. Coffees were good and meals well presented. It did take a long time but if you are prepared for this ... Give it a go

Nice food! Great view! When busy, though, food takes a long time. Do not go when the young mothers come with the babes unless you are very tolerant...

Coffee very good. Service very attentive. Only had the banana bread, ricotta and honey which was excellent. Always busy for breakfast.

Not a flash building but staff good and coffee is good. Interesting having coffee watching people going for a swim. The banana bread is great for a snack between 2.

Great service in a casual beachfront atmosphere with delicious food. I loved the fresh juices. It is very popular and due to being a small venue, sometimes you need to wait until a table is free. But it is worth the wait!

Diggies is like that comment on a high school report card that reads "With more care, concentration and effort, could reach full potential". The location is almost perfect, the menu has some great offerings (although possibly too many choices) and a lot of the time the food is beautiful. But sometimes it's not. Therein lies the issue, or at least,... More

Something just doesn't quite work at Diggies. With its stunning location on the beach, we do take visitors there but never go by ourselves. Sometimes the service is lovely and sometimes indifferent or sometimes missing in action. The menu seems OK until you go to order and then it seems it doesn't have the right mix of choices or size... Visitors from Sydney for the day, thought Diggies perfect location for our lunch ... but .... above title says it all .... food was disappointing for the price, staff pleasant but service slow.

When I have both work guests from interstate and friends around around Australia come to wollongong...I try to show them the beauty of the area. On many occasions visiting Diggies has been an absolute waste of time, effort and money. It has an amazing location with a constant turnover yet they seem to fail on such small things such as customer... More

We were recommended this cafe, as we were in Wollongong and dressed casually. Diggies is just the spot, thongs, shorts and T-Shirts with a million dollar view. The waves were crashing on the beach on warm spring day. We had the fish and chips and an extra side salad. This hit the spot. Sit back enjoy the view, if you... More
