I have been here many many times as it is a great location,it has a broad menu for breakfast and lunch and the food is usually good. However I have never ever had good service here. Slipshod, lax, blasé. Waitress brings menus, takes coffee order which arrives after 15 minutes which is the next contact with the waitress who then goes thru the specials... More

been at this establishment a few times now and it's great for the location. food is decent with a few highlights. very popular during the summer months, and on sunny days as north beach gets crammed with people. there's usually a queue to get in during the busy season and you'll need to put your name down in order to... Not being able to book is annoying, but it seems to be the way things are going, so let's discount that issue. We went for breakfast on a holiday Tuesday morning. Their 'fresh OJ' was definitely poured out of a bottled and actually tasted like a concentrate mixed with water. From four orders, two were cold (one was eggs, the... More

I have been to Diggies multiple times and every time I am disappointed. Every time I've been invited here I reluctantly accept with a cringe, no more. The portions are small and the food is ridiculously overpriced be it breakfast or lunch. I will be looking at the new venues upcoming in Wollongong and taking my business there.

The location is awesome, almost right on the beach. The staff are friendly. Those are the good points. This was our second attempt at afternoon tea (coffee & cake) and its just not good. The first time, the cake was stale and old. They shrugged their shoulders when I complained about it and that was their solution. So the second... More

This place has atmosphere! .... great table service, food at times is a bit slow coming but lovely when it arrives. Windy days Diggies is not the best choice as the plastic Bistro curtains tend to let in the breeze and make an uncomfortable dinning experience. In saying that one could always venture inside the establishment to eat but the... More

Diggies has been fantastic in the past but this wasn't quite so great. The waitress was lovely and full of life, however after waiting 20 minutes for someone to stop walking past and notice me I was getting annoyed. When I was asked if I was okay she thought I was waiting on someone else, honest mistake, however I said... More
