Menu should read "pancakes with a banana on the side"

The food were average, nothing to really rave about (you can easily make it at home). The coffee was excellent though! The service was ok. I think they were too busy. They were not rude or anything but you felt a little bit neglected. Maybe a little smile and a quick chit chat..."how's your day so far?"

This cafe has an amazing location but that's about it. I have had a number of meals at this cafe but each time the overpriced food and coffee has been average at best and the service is slow. On my last visit, I ordered a basic poached eggs and I swear my kids could do a better job. To be... More

Recently came to Diggies for a work lunch. Firstly, the location is beautiful, overlooking Northbeach. Secondly, food and staff are great. Good menu and they were happy to make some minor adjustment for me :) I'm sure I will be back time and time again.

Brilliant food, service and location! The salmon bennie was excellent and the flat whites were delicious and beautiful too.

Great place to meet any day of the year. Fantastic location. Go for a walk along the beach or around the harbour. Catch up with friends or some one special. I like to go on my own sometimes to just think. Plenty of place to park for free and the view is stunning.

A quick business meeting, rainy day, need coffee and where do we go. Diggies! With great outdoor seating it was still a lovely place to watch the waves and the weather. Coffee - fantastic, service was quick with attending to our order to serving. I have eaten there many times and I will be eating there many more.

Our experience with breakfast was disappointing. Our coffees were slow to arrive and cold, despite a request for extra hot. One meal arrived cold and took 25 mins to return, following a request to staff to locate it. The table staff were courteous and very helpful, so I imagine the problems were from the kitchen and coffee bar. The meal... More

Went to breakfast at Diggies Saturday morning. I have been there many time previously but not for at least 12 months, and usually felt that food & service was good.. not this time! After being seated, i waited about half an hour before asking for my order to be taken by the waitress who was standing around doing nothing. We... More

Busy busy busy, but knowing this we pre-booked a table. Service not too bad considering how busy it was. Prime post overlooking the beach with fab sea views. Food excellent. Mid range prices. Had breakfast here also evening meals and on other occasions just coffee. All good stuff. Highly recommended.
