We popped in for an afternoon coffee with our two year old and 6 month old. The hostess was very accommodating offering a high chair, textas and a colouring book for our toddler. The service was quick and the vibe felt relaxed. The artworks were awesome and our toddler loved the colouring book featuring drawings from other customers. It was... More

I had lunch here with a couple of friends for the first time and the menu is not huge which I think is better than too much to choose from. There are some good vegetarian options also. I'm not sure if the menu changes but there were black board specials like sweet potato quiche I think on the day. We... More

Service was slow but snacks were terrific, in the open not great if a hot day. Parking not a problem.

We have visited this café several times over the last eight years and have never left feeling anything other than delighted, perhaps some of the artwork is not to our taste (but who can say they love all art?), however the food is always of the highest standard and the staff reflect this high standard. From the moment you walk... More

This Cafe is a little hard to find since the main road has been changed but well worth the trouble. The staff are very friendly & the food is wonderful, the deserts looked loverly but there was no room left. Most of the tables are outside under umbrellas overlooking the river, it is very peaceful . They have loverly art... More

Great service and quality food in now quite an established venue and artisans retreat. Set on the riverbank this is a tranquil setting with an abundance of character!

A meeting point for coffee with friends & disappointment I hadn't not been here sooner. Lovely lovely setting, great food. Tucked in off the Pacific Highway it is worth the detour, but more so worth just making it the destination!

We visited the Tea House on the 7th Sept. 2014. Ordered the ham tomato and cheese croissant( toasted) , the lime tart and the scones ( which were labelled the best). Had to take the croissant back to be retoasted as it was still cold, even after the 2nd time, still cold, although a little warmer, and it was still... More

The Other Side Tea House is a few minutes drive up the highway from Taree. The turn off is quite sharp and easy to miss, but once off the road, the café sits like a colourful beacon in the rolling fields. The majority of seating is outside, shaded by flowering shrubs and arching trees and within view of the water.... More
