The food we experienced today was outstanding! What a fab setting, staff, food, wine. What a way to start the Easter weekend.

Wow what a fabulous dining experience! We were staying at Peppers in the Hunter Valley and decided to eat 'in house' at Chez Pok. The staff were delightful, friendly and attentive. The meal was preceded by complimentary fresh baked breads and an amazing appetiser, fresh and tasty. Night one we tried the barramundi and the amazing take on traditional cannelloni,... More

Very enjoyable Lunch. The lamb was to die for & amazing desserts? Very professional service. Nice to sit in outside area with a nice view.

We are big foodies! Have eaten in most restaurants in the Hunter, but first time in Shez Pok. It was a lunch to remember. The service was outstanding and the food delish ! The manager, Melinda, runs the place with great efficiency and understanding of the business. We were very impressed and can't wait to come back.

The restaurant is inviting with both the inside dining and more casual verandah facilities good. The service was fine and we had a few dietary needs which were met with no trouble. The quality of the meal was very good save for one comment by one of our party that the quantity was light on. Value for what it offered... More

This was the first time I had being to the Hunter and had picked this restaurant as it was where we were staying. The atmosphere was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, the only disappointment was we had picked the lamb rump to share and found it was quite rare in the middle, but was still quite... More

Limited menu...slow service...dirty conservatory...chippy staff...chef who doesn't know how to cook steak to order...pretentious desserts that just didn't deliver. Over-rated. Think twice.

the food at chez pok is reasonable, some things were even nice, but this was completely ruined by the appalling service. I have eaten at Ottos and Akis at Woollomoloo recently which charge a similar amount and there is simply no comparison. the sides.came out after we finished our mains, my.water glass was empty for several hours, we.were unable to... You get a wide range of choices from the buffet breakfast and what is very special is that do a homemade bread and butter pudding and the jams and pastries that they put on display are all homemade. Ask for a seat outside on the veranda - if it’s not too hot and there is a chance you will see... More
