We were doing a wine tasting at Pepper Tree and noticed Roberts...highly recommended so thought we would try our luck that night. Great atmosphere and the food was pleasant but from a pretty limited range of choices. Service let the night down as we were forgotten and had to ask twice for water and it was a major evolution to... More

We spent a week trying lots of good restaurants including Botanica, Muse, Emersons and Roberts. These are all wonderful restaurants and well worth a visit. I thought Muse was the best just in front of Botanica on both atmosphere and food with Roberts third. But well worth a visit and try the wobbly panacotta!

Friends and I ate at Roberts last night, 3 1/2 hours for 3 courses. 1 1/2 hrs between entree and main course. Was this, so we brought more drinks. Food was great but so long, by the time dessert arrived I had lost interest. Glass of wine very expensive considering winery next door.

We chose Roberts for dinner because we were staying at Peppers Convent and it was a convenient walk from room to restaurant. The rustic slab construction creates a great first impression and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Our table was right in front of the open fire and it created a lovely ambience. After a day of wine... More

Although it was a lunch visit in off season and therefore few guests it still had a very pleasant ambiance and absolutely wonderful food. I must especially mention their olives, they were superb probably the best I have ever had. This is restaurant with style and now -how.

We love the olives too. We are please you enjoyed your time with us and hope that you will be able to find time to visit us again. The restaurant is usually a little quieter on weekday lunches and sometime on weekends, but dinner time is always hectic and fun for all. Best wishes Matt More

We were staying with friends at Peppers and went to Roberts for dinner. Due to our group of 10 we were given the private dining room at the front door with its ante room and fireplace. Sounds grand for a slab hut but it was terrific for our group. Food sublime and service exceptional. Wine slightly on the expensive side.... More

We are pleased you and your group enjoyed your private dining experience at Roberts Circa 1876. The slab hut is fantastic and the Taittinger Lounge exception for a great group like yours. I am currently updating the wine list and will look at the pricing, but we do try and stay cheaper than our competitors, and I do appreciate the... More

There is certainly everything to like and nothing to dislike about Roberts. The old farm house has been beautifully and traditionally renovated with amazing woodwork. There are beautiful open fireplaces, quiet rooms for a drink as well as a beautiful dining room with candles and a fireplace. As for the food, it was the best food that I have ever... More

An AWESOME place, meal, atmosphere. Fine dinning at its best, wait staff could be a bit more pleasant, but it was a beautiful meal. Highly recommend 🍸🍷
