Enzo warmly welcomes you to our charming sandstone restaurant. . . As the story goes, 'enzo' have been established since 1996, yes one of the original cafes in wine country pokolbin! When there were dirt roads 'n stuff! We are historically known for our alfresco dining and 7 days trade throughout our years! And now proud to extend that with introducing Friday and Saturday dinners - that's how much we love what we do! Over the years this once upon a time homestead, home to the Irelands, has expanded and evolved and become home to enzo. Original fittings of the kitchen areas and fireplace still remain untouched. Hand cut sandstone, laid by hand, and the hardwood beams from the wharf of sydney harbour, create the lived-in feel that people return for. We welcome you to our home of dining, celebrating and good times, and ask you to continue to share with us. Enjoy!

Great coffee, atmosphere and food

Each time I visit the Hunter, I visit Café Enzo and they have yet to disappoint. From their Devonshire teas, lunch time dishes, amazing breakfast boards and excellent coffee - Café Enzo does not disappoint and the fact that it's constantly busy attests to this. Its surrounds are stunning - if... read more

Girls weekend away and we booked in advance for our large group. Extensive menu - all items were amazing. Such friendly service and great atmosphere outside overlooking the Bocce and the water fountain.

My husband and I had a mid-week lunch in June and it was lovely sitting in the sun in the courtyard by the fountain, relaxing and unpretentious but classy. We thoroughly enjoyed a light lunch and glass of wine, staff were great, food was tasty, fresh and fast. It wasn't cheap but really worth the few extra dollars for quality... More

When we go to the Hunter we always call in to have lunch here. It is located in the Peppers Creek Village. We love sitting outside but in winter the fire is lit and its nice and warm in there too. Our favourite dish is the linguini. I have the vegetarian and my husband has the one with tiger prawns.... More

My husband and I went for lunch on a weekday, so didn't have to wait at all for a table. The food was nice but a bit pricey, the portion was okay for me but a bit small for my husband's liking. The service staff was very friendly. We were seated outdoor but the cafe's interior was beautiful and artistic.... More

We ate at Cafe Enzo on a Saturday afternoon while visiting the Hunter Valley, I had the most devine lamb with beetroot risotto and my friends had the vegetarian linguine. Beautiful fresh tasty food, well worth the visit.

Twice we visited Café Enzo but could not get in. Finally after 30 minutes wait we were able to secure a table even though we were having coffee only that day. Quite disappointing as it had a lovely atmosphere.

The coffee was fantastic, but the breakfast menu really didn't live up to the tariff. Coming from hospitality, we really couldn't see the cost of the sides justified the serve sizes. However, the ambience of the place is lovely, with big picture window the pick of the seats through winter. All in all, been there/ done that and would explore... More

This is our first trip in the Hunter Valley and we accidentally stumbled across Cafe Enzo. We decided to have lunch here and enjoyed it so much, we booked in for breakfast the next day too. The staff was friendly, the service was fast and efficient and we look forward to coming back in Spring.
