Late lunch with no booking, no problem! The 8 of us ended up here after a morning of wine tasting and the staff were accommodating and courteous. There was a few Tapas items that were not available, but what we had was delicious and good value. Greta place for a group meal if you are up in the valley with... More

Excellent food, wine and service. Couldn't have asked for a better evening. Sat out on the verandah with a heater - very cosy.

My wife and I attended The Verandah for the second time/ this visit and they had a French Theme night and ooh La La is was really superb. Chef Matt Dillow is creating quite a reputation in the Hunter and had the kitchen running at 10/10 this night. I marvel at how Matt's team seem to be able to switch-hit... More

In one of the best wineries, you can take a bottle upstairs from cellar door and enjoy the view with innovative tapas. There are good aged wines for sale so you can enjoy a very good one at reasonable cost with your meal. Take the wait staff advice on what to order and how much, as chef is very good... More

This was our second time at the veranda restaurant. The food just gets better if that is even possible. From the service through to the decor everything is excellent. Two of us ordered 6 tapas between us because we couldn't decide on any less. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often.A big shout out to the... More

We had a mezze plate - best mezze plate ever! The service was great even at 3.3opm on a Monday! We got extra bread and some hints on where to buy the amazing Labna.

We came here last night for our first wedding anniversary dinner and we're not disappointed. It was a Friday night but the restaurant itself was quite empty, with only four other parties. Food - great tapas. We had the blue swimmer crab ravioli (two big raviolis that were packed with flavour), cumin and cayenne baby calamari (a mixture of calamari... More

We had lunch at this café on a week end and it was really busy. You can sit out on a deck but it was a bit cool so we moved inside. There is a varied menu and the price is reasonable. The meal sizes were good and the food tasted really nice. I would eat here again if I'm... More

An institution in the Hunter Valley. A must visit. Great Tapas food and excellent service in a beautiful location. What more could you ask for. Get along to a Locals night even if you are a visitor to the area. What a great evening.
