Sister's Rock Restaurant is a family-run restaurant, located at the top of Borrodell Vineyard, overlooking the Pinot Noir block. Enjoy the food & wine in a venue with glorious views over the slopes of the Towac Valley to Orange in the distance. Our philosophy of food has developed around a love of growing produce on the property and serving it straight to the plate, a true reflection of the seasons. We are a heritage apple and plum orchard, vineyard, grow cider apples for our own traditional cider and black Perigord truffles. All meals are accompanied by Borrodell cool-climate, award-winning wines. The menu changes regularly according to seasonal availability. Please phone to discuss the current menu.

A beautiful location but very disappointed with the quality of the expensive brunch. So much potential for this restaurant.

I recently attended a lovely event here in this beautiful setting and the food was fine, however, I didn't think it was good value for money. Even by Orange standards the drinks were expensive and not impressed that they were not set up for us to pay cash, and were encouraging everyone to have a drinks tab...

We lunched here on Friday 20th November. It was a hot, windy day but we were still comfortably seated outdoors overlooking the pinot block. Indeed a magical setting. We started with tataki of beef which was well prepared and delicious and panko crusted Tasmanian brie, well presented and tasty. Then we indulged in red wine marinated venison with wild mushroom... Food not on par with its pricing, combinations odd. Great views. My Advice go for the view and taste a wine or two but head back to town for food!

We just had a beautiful breakfast at Borrodel. A hidden gem on a Sunday morning. Great value we both had the big breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly & holandaise sauce delicious. We had lunch here a month ago and shared the lamb. This is our favourite Orange location for a relaxing meal with stunning views.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Sister's Rock restaurant a few weeks back. The food, wine atmosphere and location were top class. I ordered the stuffed pepper as a main course and it was one of the most flavorsome meals that I have eaten in a very long time. I would highly recommend a visit.

We had lunch here a few weeks back and they were most accommodating considering the change in the weather. (We had booked an outside table) The entres were great and we had the lamb prepared for two which was absolutely delicious. Our friends had the venison which was great too. Service was excellent - the whole experience was really lovely.... More

The service was friendly and quick and the meals so tasty and filling. Not a huge menu to choose from but what was there was very nice. Will definitely go back.

With magnificent views overlooking the vineyard, the food was just as extraordinary - as was the service. We were initially greeted like they had known us for years & then ushered to our table. A shared seafood platter was ordered for entrée, with the black prawns with curry the standout - the best curry I have ever tasted. Mains were... More
