Sister's Rock Restaurant is a family-run restaurant, located at the top of Borrodell Vineyard, overlooking the Pinot Noir block. Enjoy the food & wine in a venue with glorious views over the slopes of the Towac Valley to Orange in the distance. Our philosophy of food has developed around a love of growing produce on the property and serving it straight to the plate, a true reflection of the seasons. We are a heritage apple and plum orchard, vineyard, grow cider apples for our own traditional cider and black Perigord truffles. All meals are accompanied by Borrodell cool-climate, award-winning wines. The menu changes regularly according to seasonal availability. Please phone to discuss the current menu.

Shaky start but ended well

Having made a reservation by email a few days earlier (which was confirmed in writing by the restaurant) we arrived to find we were not in the reservation book and the waitress was a bit off to start with as though she didn't believe we had made a reservation or that we had made a mistake... read more

We had a special dinner out on the deck, with kangaroos and hares chasing each other, the food was wonderful, generous portions with perfectly matched wines. Price was very reasonable considering the quality of the food, we couldn't help getting a couple of bottle at the end of the dinner. Amazing dinner place for special occasion, highly recommend this place.... More

Took interstate family visitors for dinner 2nd Jan. We enjoyed perfect position inside as weather was overcast and cool with views from the mountain over the vineyards towards Orange. All enjoyed the interesting and well presented meals and wines. We have eaten here several times over past years and have never had bad experience with meal or service, can understand... More

On Friday January 9, 2015, my brother and I took my elderly parents for lunch and a wine tasting tour to the region, and we decided to visit this winery as Orange Tourist Information Centre had recommended it as one of the better wineries to visit. We were very disappointed! Staff there avoided making any contact with us and in... More

This is the second time my wife & I have had breakfast at this restaurant with friends & again it did not disappoint, it's a slow drive up the hill on a dirt road but worth the trip as you drive through the cherry & apple orchards. There were ten of us for breakfast & I had the eggs benedict... More

From the moment we arrived. Grace recognised us. We were impressed with the taste testing. And even more impressed with the Menu (which changes every week!) Big thumbs to depth of flavours, immaculate presentation and a short wait during a busy lunch hour. Service was optimal with a smile. Thanks guys for spoiling us on a Sunday Arvo. 😄😄😄

Brillant view, wonderful service. Food to die for. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch last week. Beautifully cooked entree and main. Amazing apple pie for desert using apples from their orchard. Really good coffee as well. A must when visiting orange.

What a place! It was my first time at this restaurant and I'm so glad I went. It had come highly recommended and it certainly didn't disappoint. My friends and I were visiting from interstate and I haven't been to a restaurant quite like this I'm compelled to share my experience by writing a review which I never do. Upon... More
