We stopped by Racine shortly before the lunch service was finishing for the day . We didn't want lunch, really only a snack. They were very accommodating and made us a beautiful cheese platter and allowed us to select some appetisers from their menu, along with some wine by the glass. We sat outside and relaxed after a busy day... More

Booked for 6 for 88th birthday celebration for Friday lunch, and not disappointed. Food quantity was OK, but quality was superb. Weather and view conducive to sitting outside- nice 'rustic' feel to the place. Wine list extensive (and perhaps a tad expensive). Friday lunch menu (lighter style for Friday) great for the occasion. Better desert selection would have topped it... More

Apart from the revolting green painted walls, the food was pretty average and disappointing. I was expecting something very special, did not experience that. Found restaurants in Bathurst and on a local vineyard the following day much superior and attentive.

However you stumble upon this restaurant you will be in for a taste sensation. Whether you completely agree with the flavours you will be intrigued surprised and delighted. But don't come if you are conventional in your tastes. If you order a la carte be prepared to share as you should taste each other's food. It is a special food... More

Fantastic dinner and wine. We went for a 3-course a la carte each for ~$70 per person (no matching wine) and one has a matching wine on top for $110 per person. You can choose any 3 in the menu. Size of food were good and about the same for each plate. The heirloom tomatoes dish was refreshing. The quail... More

Brilliant food with a discerning wine list. Picturesque back drop enhances the meal but doesn't distract. I would highly recommend.

Was really looking forward to our meal, small menu choices if you don't go the degustation. This is a hatted restaurant so had high expectations. Entree was nice had asparagus and mushroom gnocchi, but not wow. We had different mains the beef and fish both were over cooked and over salted, the side of truffle mash was good. only 6... More

My husband and dined here last week and were both very disappointed in the experience. The food was based on a standard formula - quinoa or in the case of the meat course couscous, the main ingredient, some foam or puree, and then a crunchy decoration on the top. I understand how food is constructed in commercial kitchens but the... More
