Brilliant food with a discerning wine list. Picturesque back drop enhances the meal but doesn't distract. I would highly recommend.

Was really looking forward to our meal, small menu choices if you don't go the degustation. This is a hatted restaurant so had high expectations. Entree was nice had asparagus and mushroom gnocchi, but not wow. We had different mains the beef and fish both were over cooked and over salted, the side of truffle mash was good. only 6... More

What an amazing experience. The 5 courses I ate were among the best I have eaten anywhere in the world and the service matched it!! Highly recommend!!

My husband and dined here last week and were both very disappointed in the experience. The food was based on a standard formula - quinoa or in the case of the meat course couscous, the main ingredient, some foam or puree, and then a crunchy decoration on the top. I understand how food is constructed in commercial kitchens but the... More

I have been a fan for many years of Racine. The only problem is that sometimes you may not want to have a full 3, 5 or 7 course menu. So this has limited the number of times I got to Racine now. However it never disappoints. Great food, wine and service. The attention to detail in not only the... More

When we went there I had the Cold Pressed Duck and it rocked! The menu does sound a bit strange, but the flavour combinations seem to work. We actually took my Inlaws from Wagga there for dinner and they also enjoyed the experience - my Father inlaw loved the fresh baked sourdough and raved about it for ages! Glad they... More

My family visited Racine on a sunny day for lunch late in Spring. The service was personable and attentive, and the food was delicious with elegant flavours. The meals included a lot of local produce. We opted for three courses, and while the meals look small and fancy, none of us were left hungry. As a vegetarian I felt well... More

We booked this restaurant to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday & are in disbelief at the dining experienced we received. Thank god we never ordered a birthday cake from them. I object to paying for a meal that is served on cold plates, & where the purees & foam are served cold from the fridge & your guests leave hungry.... More

The ordering system (everyone had to choose the same amount of courses) did not suit our group of 8 well, with some having bigger appetites than others. The courses were beautifully presented but tiny and unsatisfying. Experience summed up by one diner upon leaving: "I'm so hungry I need to go home via McDonalds - but now I can't afford... More

The dining experience was a little bit hit and miss. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. However I think that there were a number of inexperienced staff on as we had a couple of mishaps. We were seated and had ordered and been provided with our wine for about 30 mins before receiving a menu, staff were... More
