Fantastic Japanese

We had dinner here in August with our two teenagers. The food was very fresh and innovative. Loved all dishes. The wine was on the pricey side starting at over $50 a bottle. We asked if we could order another dish only to be told the kitchen closes at 9.30pm, and it was a Friday night!! Staff were... read more

Nagisa is the full package, interesting and comprehensive Japanese menu, large selection of Japanese craft beers and great service. One of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Australia.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever been to. Had a banquet with a friend, we were so deliriously and happily full afterwards, definitely value for money. The food was interesting and inventive, I can't wait to come back again! The sake menu also blew me away, so many to choose from!

A lovely family owned business. The food is of very high quality and full of flavour. It is expensive however (around $60/head without drinks).

The food was so good! The confit chicken was the highlight for me and the gyoza was delish! Pricey but it is a specialty restaurant on the harbour so its pretty normal. The service was ok, wasn't a massive standout.

We had the Tasting for Two $85pp Also a carafe of Western Australian Shiraz & bill was $197. Noooo problem at... More

Food as in the exceptional wagyu beef and and the way they treat it. The other day for lunch we had wagyu cured for a week in miso as tataki. Also kingfish carpaccio with this delicious secret Japanese vinaigrette that the chef won't share with me. I beg him every time, and he answers with a smiley no. Sake and... More
