Lunch

Went in for lunch on a quite Monday. Only people there so we received our meals quite quickly. We both had pasta and have no complaints. Also reasonably priced.

We had the meat pizza, chicken and mushroom pasta and garlic pizza crust. Pizza did not taste like a meat pizza the only thing you could taste was the capsicum on it, the pasta didn't even have a taste, we had to smoother it with salt and pepper just to taste something, and the garlic pizza crust was not very... We have been dining here for years. The prices are affordable and its in a great position, however the last time we went there, I found that the toppings on the pizzas were a bit stingy. This can be easily fixed though.

This place is a gem! Very clean and the decor matches perfectly. The tables and chairs are wooden and very comfy. The staff are lovely and very accomodating. The food was good value for money, we both had the creamy fettucine one with mushrooms and the other with avocado. They were both good meals but did lack some flavour. The... More

Visited with a group while on holiday in Dubbo, including kids. Garlic crusts for entrée were to die for, quite excellent! Adults enjoyed their pizza and pasta, which were flavoursome and plentiful. Kids not too keen on their pizzas, probably more an adult taste in terms of base topping than they were used to. Staff very friendly and helpful. One... More

Enticed to try by Trip Advisor award on the door. Friendly staff. However the pizza was like hard cardboard and tasteless. The Caesar salad was gritty with sand. The waitress accepted our comment but there was no adjustment to the bill. We overheard a similar complaint about the pizza from a couple at another table. No tip or any "award"... More

Our Group of friends visited Dubbo last weekend and decided go to for dinner at Sticks & Stones. We went there for Wood-Fired pizza but half of us changed our minds when we looked at their Pasta menu. EXCELLENT FOOD. Delicious pizzas & Pastas. Everybody loved it. Very friendly staff. Quick service. We will be back when we visit next.... More

After finallllly getting our orders taken we were excited for our garlic crust and margarita. Garlic crust = couldn't taste any garlic, the fresh parmesan as per the menu was commercial store bought c$*p, overpowering the entire pizza. The base itself was underwhelming too. We hoped for a turn around with the margarita..... We couldn't fingure out if they mistook... More
