Came for Sunday breakfast, a group of 4. Hadn't been since our last visit to Dubbo in July. Sat outside which was lovely. Ordered coffees immediately, no problem, but it took some time for anyone to take our order(only after we asked). Food and coffees great, we had expected it to take a bit longer as it was Sunday, but... More

Thought we'd try somewhere new for lunch, so sorry we did. Had to ask for a menu, coffee took forever, lunch took 50 minutes to be served, my husbands was the wrong meal. Service was poor & without any personality.

Stopped here for a quick coffee and muffin. I drink soy and they use Bonsoy which is tops. Also muffin freshly baked and delicious. Friendly staff.

The food is generally lovely. Service in the past has been fine, but our last experience was quite disappointing. I have organised a large function there and will never do so again due to the logistical nightmare it turned out to be. They don't split bills which is also annoying. Will return to try again, though.

I have normally enjoyed dining at the short st cafe but I can not wait 30 minutes and watch everyone around me turning up getting served and still having to get my own menus. Even walking out after this time no body had any idea we were even there. I will be back but will hope there are less customers.

I ordered the Big Breakfast. Greasy undercooked bacon with rind on.Thick sausage with no colour to indicate it had been on a grill. One small piece of thin sliced sour dough bread which was almost obscured by the small'potato rosti'.Eggs were small but well poached. Mushrooms plentiful but black and greasy. Whole tomato slightly under ripe and undercooked but edible.... More

Found this little café that is off the main drag on Trip Advisor and was very impressed. Great variety for breakfast and fantastic service. When our 5yr old turned up his nose at the syrup on his pancakes, No Problem!, the chef whipped up a second serving for him - no charge! Great food and even better service! It seemed... More

Have been here a couple of times and have been very impressed both times . The food is really nice and the coffee taste great, but could be a bit hotter.I had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and my friend had the corn fritters with bacon and baby spinach leaves, which were both lovely. Good selection of food on the... More

Nice little cafe tucked away in a side street. My sister and brother in law were visiting from Adelaide and we took her out for breakfast. It was cold and raining so we sat inside. We were lucky , we booked and had a table waiting for us in this busy little cafe. Breakfast menu was comprehensive with plenty to... More

Visited Short Street Store for breakfast. I ordered the eggs benedict with avocado and my two friends had pancakes. My meal was delicious! The lime inclusion to the hollandaise was well received. The eggs however were average and both were cooked all the way through, not runny like they should be. My friend's pancakes however were virtually inedible. They were... More
