We chose to have a takeaway from here after a long day out. The takeaway service was very efficient, the food quality more than acceptable nad the portions so big we saved some for the next night. A good experience.

Called in early and we were served quickly. The food was OK but when the tour group arrived, service went from being good to non-existent. The staff were completely focussed on the tour group and everyone else was ignored. After 15 mins trying to get another drink, I had to go and find someone to serve me, meanwhile there were... More

We ate here once and had the chicken and the prawns on hot plates plus drinks. All up the meal cost $69 which we thought very reasonable. The place was almost full when we arrived with most of the guests from China. Service was slick with a quite short wait for food. Our limited observation was that people did not... More

The food was very nice and the staff coped with a big crowd & a number of tour groups with ease. Very reasonably priced & I'd recommend the set menu for 2 people- good variety & very generous servings- very popular & if you havn't booked go early to get a table.

The food and service was very good, especially for 6 hungry travellers looking for an affordable dining experience (beyond burgers, fish and chips). We spent just under $100 for two entrees, four mains and rice. Everyone left feeling full and satisfied.

Quality food in a Chinese atmosphere. When we were there, it seemed as if every Chinese visitor in the island was dining there too - yet it never seemed crowded, just full of happy eaters provided with quality food quickly and carefully. Tastes were excellent and varied and reasonably priced.

Pretty low quality Chinese food. Ordered the lemon chicken (fried) and cashew chicken. Both too sweet and didn't come with rice or veg. No need to go back.

The restaurant is large and sort of characterless. The staff were charming and helpful. We ordered a starter platter to share and they brought two, a misunderstanding? I'm not sure. Too much food as we had ordered a main course each. It was in ok meal, but nothing outstanding.

We ordered the chow mein from ming garden, thinking that we would treat ourselves as we hadnt had chinese in a while. We had it delivered and it was quite fast. However upon tasting the food found it was rather bland. The amount of oil in the food made a large puddle in the bottom of the plastic bag that... More

I have read reviews on this restaurant and decided to do a takeaway instead of eating in. We ordered some fried rice, 2 beef dishes and sweet and sour fish. The wait time was less than 15 minutes. The food was tasty and not overly oily like most Chinese takeaway. A good choice if you miss Chinese food.
